The device we are talking about is the Smartfish Whirl Mini Notebook Laser Mouse; it has a very individual design. The device could be conceived as extremely ergonomic, it was designed to help those with issues like ,repetitive straining syndromes on people’s wrists, you can read more about other problems Smartfish are aiming to combat here.

As you can see, the actual mouse looks like it is floating. When using it you can tilt it left, right forwards and backwards to suit the position you are in. The mouse has two buttons as most conventional mice do, and a roller which, is also clickable.

The device has a small USB receive that plugs into the laptop for when you are using it. There is an on and off button on the bottom of the device and a small storage compartment to house the USB transmitter.
