According to Mike over at gamescatalyst.com, Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends – which is developed by Omega Force – will be launched across Europe on 18th November. Brand new characters Wang Yi and Guo Jia will be joining the battle, as well the returning hero Pang De. The upcoming expansion will also contain secret weapons.

By fulfilling specific conditions in the Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends game, players will unlock ultra-powerful versions of the original DW7 weapons. There will also be new weapon types added to the armory including the Dragon Spear and Battling Stick. These will of course increase the variety of ways that players can annihilate opposing armies.

Dynasty Warriors 7: Xtreme Legends will also provide gamers with two new modes: the Legend Mode and Challenge Mode. Legend Mode enables players to tackle battles from both brand new scenarios and previous Dynasty Warriors series. Challenge Mode on the other hand allows them to tackle various different missions in order to fight for worldwide rankings.

Challenge Mode also includes online leader boards, which enables players to fight it out for the number one spot. The expansion also comes with a Japanese voice-over option and the Mix-Joy system, which allows players to experience a powered-up version of the original Dynasty Warriors 7 game’s Conquest and Story modes.

Other characters featured in the original Dynasty Warriors 7 game include Guan Ping, Huang Zhong, Jiang Wei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Zhou Tai, Zhang Jiao, Yuan Shao, Meng Huo, Lu Bu, Sima Yi and Sun Shang Xiang. Gundam 3 was on show at this expo and details regarding the DLC for PS3 and Xbox 360 have now been made official. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will both be receiving DLC on July 19 in the US. European PS3 gamers will have to wait one day later in order to get their hands on it as it hits the PSN on July 20 on this area. Gamers will be able to play 6 new missions that they can buy individually for $0.99 (80MSP) each on 19/20 July.

Later on a special pack released called the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 Susanowo pack. This will retail on the PlayStation Network for €3.99 and on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 480MSP. This pack will unlock Susanowo and it’s pilot Mister Bushido as a playable character in the game and should be available July 26/27.

This is all of the DLC we expect to see for this game in July and we are yet to hear any word regarding DLC which will arrive in August and September, therefore we will have to keep you posted as we hear more. One thing which we can confirm is that more DLC is set to come to Dynasty Warriors 7, the latest game in the main series of the classic Japanese hack n’ slash, currently details regarding this DLC are scarce.

Some of the content in the discussion of the blog revealed that there are thoughts of bonus content coming out for DW7 that have not been officially announced due to confusions caused during the down-time of the Playstation Network. It is claimed that there are 6 packs made when four were planned originally. Keep an eye out for that one.

The Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 game – a tactical action title developed by Koei / Omega Force – has been receiving mixed reviews from critics since it was released, ranging in ratings from a disappointing 4/10 to a bit more impressive 8/10. For example, Kat Bailey from the gamepro.com website gave the game 3 out of 5 stars, stating that it does look much prettier than its predecessors.

This Kat says is partly thanks to the new cel-shading, a feature that has been included in other Gundam titles. The game has received a number of welcome tweaks according to Kat, including the fact that dying no longer means you are forced to restart a level. Despite the game having good cel-shaded graphics and plenty of unlockables, it is unfortunately let down by repetitiveness and its non-descript environments.

Meanwhile, Jack DeVries over at IGN gave Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 a disappointing score of 4 out of 10. Jack says that although the graphics look great, the sound is good and the online co-op is cool, the game is repetitive and doesn’t have anything compelling enough to make it noteworthy. Simon Parkin from eurogamer.net on the other hand gave the game an overall rating of 8/10.

Simon describes the game as one of the paceiest and exciting Dynasty Warriors title of its generation. This reviewer says that although the environments do tend to repeat themselves too often, they are filled with enough interest and action to bear the repetition. The final review comes from Dan Lee over at thesixthaxis.com. Dan also gave the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 game an 8/10 score.

Dan says that characters play a huge part in the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 game, with more than 50 to collect. An interesting point that Dan makes is that although there are 300 missions in total, most of them just boil down to the same thing: destroy the enemy and take command of the map. What let the game down in Dan’s opinion are the annoying soundbites and the unfortunate repetition.

Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll now have an official site that you can view here, it contains character details, screenshots and views of several of the cities. For each city you can actually do a bit of exploring and see different views of them.

The style of the game actually reminds me a lot of the Marvel Ultimate alliance games, where you battle your way through various enemies in all shapes and sizes whilst exploring the world.

The game is due out as a PS3 exclusive early in February and allows you to play as a number of characters such as Dagda, a large warrior who excels in bare-handed combat, an assassin of vampire origins names Selene as well as a sardonic young guy who wields swords and spells known as Areus.
