We have to wonder why the drug company did not recall the powerful drug until July 2009?

Johnson & Johnson is now under investigation as to why they had to recall more than 40 types of the popular child’s medicine. According to reports there were even small samples of metal in the Motrin medicine.

J&J are like Toyota in the drug market, as they seem to be suffering from a huge number of recalls – such as Tylenol and Benadryl, which we discussed in a recent post.

The Food and Drug Administration planned to ask a Johnson & Johnson executive a question yesterday about its Motrin 2009 recall. This does not fill us with confidence – we are supposed to trust the drugs that we give our children.
