If you are looking for a nice speaker dock for your Apple devices then look no further as JBL has introduced a new device called the OnBeat speaker dock. It will dock your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

It is the company’s first dock that is compatible with the iPad and although it is designed to hold the largest of these Apple devices there is no word on whether it will also dock the iPad 2. Once device are firmly docked they can be rotated for portrait or landscape preference.

Not only does this device provide music from the Apple devices attached, but it is also capable of streaming video content such as YouTube and Netflix to your television via a video output. While the devices are docked the speaker will also charge them.

It also has a 3.5mm auxiliary jack, an infra-red remote that allows you to scroll through your devices menus from up to 4.6m away and a USB port. As for the actual speaker specs itself, it has computer optimized DSP equalization for dual Phoenix full-range transducers.

If you are interested in getting one of these it will set you back $149.95. More details about the JBL OnBeat can be found at the JBL site by clicking the link. Let us know what you think of the speaker dock in the comments below.

Having previously brought you news of the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere speakers, which are compatible with Android devices, the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone, we have yet another audio accessory for the Apple devices to tell you about. The JBL On Air Wireless which is AirPlay enabled.

This news comes from the article by Sam Sheffer at Engadget who says they were excited when thy first heard about the dock. They reported the news following a splash page for the On Air Wireless, which was put up at the JBL site.

As Sam Sheffer explains the system is connected over a wireless network to the AirPlay enabled Apple iOS 4.2 device or later and Mac. The dock sits centrally in the system, on a display screen that will show the information from the track you are playing and is surrounded by a speaker grill creating a ring of pure sound.

Check out the article at Engadget for more information or you could go to this JLB link where you can sign up and be the first to hear about the release and price. The site also contains pictures and more details. What do you think of the JBL On Air Wireless? Will you be rocking out with your own one? Let us know down below.
