The new 2014 Jaguar F Type marketing campaign has already started, and as you would imagine is a perfect way to generate public interest. The main demographic for the new vehicle is 25-54, and they will want to know just what the F-Type has to offer, and thankfully Jaguar has now shared this as well.

There are two new 2014 Jaguar F Type videos below, both of which teases the new vehicle in all its glory. The first video is titled “It’s your turn to discover it” and the second “It’s your turn to feel it“. According to Autoblog, that’s not the only way Jaguar is marketing their new F Type, as the vehicle will also be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Covert Affairs, along with several magazine publications.

Because the marketing campaign is about to move into a higher gear, people are now asking about the 2014 Jaguar F Type specs, so we have provided them for you below.

<img src="http://www.product-reviews.net/wp-content/uploads/2014-Jaguar-F-Type-specs-1.jpg" alt="2014 Jaguar F Type specs 1" width="100% class="alignnone size-full wp-image-160357" />

What makes the 2014 F-TYPE so special? The reason why this new model from Jaguar is so extraordinary is because this is their first true sports car in 50 years, and this new two-seater convertible has the looks, performance, and agility to make it a truly remarkable car.

For those who assumed Tata was going to ruin Jaguar you were mistaken, because it looks as though they are doing a better job than Ford did. However, let’s not forget that it is just Indian money backing the company, as it is still the same British workers coming up with the design and building the vehicles. Whatever way you look at it, this new partnership seems to be better than the previous one.

The moment Jaguar fans have been feverishly waiting for is drawing closer as the F-TYPE shapes up for its UK launch. Due out this summer, the E-TYPE’s long-anticipated successor has had enthusiasts buzzing for months and detailed information has finally been released to give potential buyers a taste of what to expect.

Neatly balancing elegance with power, the F-TYPE clearly takes its cues from Jaguar’s sporting heritage. The muscular wings and sweeping bonnet complete with power bulge leave no doubts as to the performance delivered by the furious engine variants, while a streamlined profile and tapered rear enhance the car’s aerodynamics.

The Jaguar F-TYPE’s low ride height reflects the brand’s racing history and the seats hug you into a comfortable and secure position. The clear controls and large touchscreen set into the centre binnacle provide a simple and effective way to activate the model’s various functions from climate control to music. And speaking of music, there’s a choice of three audio systems offering state-of-the-art sound for your personal soundtrack.

If you prefer the raw tones of power, you can turn the stereo off and enjoy the reassuringly throaty growl of the engine that settles to the kind of purr Jaguar drivers have come to know and love. Jaguar’s figures claim a 0-60mph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 171mph for the V6S variant – worthy credentials for any supercar. Combined fuel economy, meanwhile, is a highly respectable 31mpg.

On the road, the F-TYPE more than delivers. The chassis and suspension have been fine tuned to tame the roughest of surfaces and the superb weight distribution results in a balanced, agile drive. Transmission is smooth whether it’s controlled by the central gearstick or the shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel, while Jaguar’s usual range of clever technologies such as corner recognition and the speed matching management system assist the drive, making it precise and exhilarating in every aspect.

Undoubtedly, despite its estimated price tag of £58,000, the Jaguar F-TYPE will be snapped up by sportscar fans and long-time Jaguar aficionados alike. And who can argue with them when faced with a car that displays such distinct prowess on the road? Are you looking forward to the Jaguar F-TYPE launch in the UK?

Recently car manufacturer Jaguar has enjoyed increased sales in the past year, and the company is now looking build on this. Now Jaguar reveal a diesel powered entry level XF model to be released later this year.

The car manufacturer owned by Tata Motors has announced the new model that will feature the lower powered 163hp engine, which is from the company’s existing 2.2-litre four cylinder turbo diesel unit. The power plant is identical to its bigger powered 190hp version but has been detuned, which according to MSN will return an impressive 52.3mpg with emission levels at 149g/km CO2.

What may be slightly surprising though as these are exactly the same figures for the more powerful version of the engine. As with the 2.2 version the transmission is an eight speed automatic unit that features an automatic engine stop-start.

The performance is still quite impressive despite the power decrease with a top speed of 130mph, and accelerating from 0 to 62mph in 9.8 seconds. But the big selling point from the company is that the model range will now start at £29,950, which will provide the cheapest way so far to get into the XF line up.

Jaguar are claiming that the new 163hp XF “is aimed at delivering greater value than ever before”, and at the price level will come in cheaper than models from rivals such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz, which all have models at a similar level that are priced over the £30,000 mark.

You won’t be disappointed with the equipment level inside the cheaper XF though, which will include half leather seats, center mounted touch screen display, climate control, and automatic stop-start technology all as standard.

The lower priced XF is available to order now with deliveries in the UK believed to be in March. Other regions are currently unknown and the same engine is also expected to become available in the upcoming XF Sportbrake estate model.

Would you get the XF if you had the money?

Cars of the future are often associated with weird and wonderful designs that have no chance of making it to production – maybe because the technology is not plausible or the design is just not practical enough? So what about the ones that we do know will make it to market, in this article we will take a look at what we believe to be five of the best future cars.

The 2014 Porsche 550 is the first, and it has does not have the potential to become a vintage car like these models on our recent list. The 550 will not look like something from the 50’s or 60’s, so we have to wonder why it shares its name with a car from 1953. Now we are uncertain what the car itself will look like, but one expects it to make driving a Porsche even more affordable.

The German automaker is not afraid to do what Ferrari will not, and that is use a small 1.6-liter engine. The car will still be able to achieve 200 horsepower and will come in at a respectably €40,000 – you heard right. More details on this can be found over at Motorward.

The 2011 Scion FR-S Concept is the second on our list, but do not be put off by its concept status, as there is a very good chance that Toyota will be making this model. There are a few reasons for this; the first is that they have been showing a video of the engine being used in the FR-S, the next is that testing is now said to be underway, and the third is that you can see a video of this car below on a test drive.

Third up is the 2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider. I could not offer what I believe to be the best future car list without putting a McLaren in there, as I am a great fan of the Woking based company. Teamspeed reports that this car was first rumored back in 2009, as McLaren knew that they needed a retractable hard top version of the popular standard model. Not much should change performance wise with its 3.8-liter V-8 engine, which can produce 592HP.

Our fourth car that needs to be on this list has to be the 2013 Jaguar XE. How can you not look to the future and not see a Jag there? There were a few rumors that this roadster was to be dropped, but you will be pleased to know that production is still on track. The one issue that we have with this car is the fact that a soft top has replaced the rumored hard top. However, you can clearly see from these spy shots from Inside Line that it still has that special something.

The final car for the near future has to be the 2012 e-Wolf Alpha-2. This is one of those cars that you think will never make it to production, but when it does there will be a few tweaks here and there. Images have recently been released, and we are so excited, as the car still looks awesome. What makes this car so different is that it is powered by electric and will produce 374 horsepower. Jalopnik tells us that the Alpha-2 will go from 0-60mph in around four seconds and will hit a top speed of 143MPH – that will give Tesla Motors something to think about.

There you have it, three of our favorite future cars. What models are you looking forward to the most?

Jaguar has recently announced that they plan to build the C-X75 supercar ready for a release in 2013, apparently it will cost somewhere between £700,000 and £900,000.

The C-X75 debuted at the Paris motor show in 2010, it will feature four electric engines and a four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, Jaguar say this engine will be “highly-boosted”, however there are no signs of the rumored jet engines.

Specs are unsurprisingly scarce and subject to change, however we are led to believe that the C-X75 will weigh roughly 1,350kg and produce 800bhp. The carbon-fiber chassis helps it weigh so little, which in turn should help it deliver 0-60mph in three seconds, 0-100mph in under six seconds and a 200mph top speed.

With 2 years until its release you have plenty of time to save almost £1 million (I’m going to buy a lottery ticket tonight), roughly 250 C-X75s will be manufactured so get in there fast if you want to get your hands on one.

If you check out TopGear’s recent post you can find out more about the C-X75 and also see some photos, do you think that this will be a formidable hybrid supercar?

When it comes to 2012 concept cars we can look at them in two ways, those that are shown this year with no real release in mind, and those that were shown as concept cars in the past and are now about to appear in 2012.

You may remember the Detroit Auto Show in 2007, and more specifically the Jaguar C-XF concept that wowed the crowd. It now looks like we’ll see this car as a 2012 production vehicle, in the name of the 2012 Jaguar XF.

Jaguar is going back to the future by tweaking the XK for 2012. The XJ had a revamp for 2010, which saw improved engine performance more like the concept car in 2007, and now we’ve the promise of improved looks for 2012.

The improvement was said to be “more like the C-XF” concept, according to the chief designer of the XF, Wayne Burgess. He also added that the technology has caught up in 2012, which is expected to deliver on the features of the 2007 concept.

Take a look at some more photos and insight into the 2012 Jaguar on Auto Blog, which shows the Jaguar C-XF concept and other cars.
With the 2012 Jaguar able to mimic features of the C-XF concept thanks to improved production technology, will you be buying?

On September 1st, the Jaguar C-X75 Concept made its appearance at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, back then we were told that it was just “a pure concept”. However, we were not surprised when we learned today that Jaguar is thinking of making a production version, but will instead be called it the X-75.

This is no ordinary car, as it wants to follow the success that Tesla Motors has had with their electric vehicles. For those who cannot remember, the C-X75 Concept that was on show last week will have four electric motors each producing 195hp and two micro gas turbines producing 96 horsepower each; all this adds up to an impressive 780hp.

This soon to be production car – hopefully – will get from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 205mph. According to Autocar, if Jaguar does launch a production model, then numbers will be limited from 1000 – 2000 units per year.

There are rumors that such a project would take eight years, but sources believe that for this to work Jaguar will need to do it in two.

With the popularity growing for Jaguars XJ and XF, the once dated image has been shrugged off and a Jaguar is a good looking car to be seen in. In the States the XJ is looked upon as arguably a cut above the rest in the style category.

Well if the likes of Mercedes and BMW thought they had enough to worry about, CarPix has managed to grab some shots of the new for 2012 XF. Although clad in body deforming camouflage it is still possible to see that the XJ’s little brother has taken some styling tips from the best.

While the front and rear have seen changes, you can just make out the new design headlights and re sculpted front bumper, similar to that on the XJ. As the front goes under the knife, the taillights get a subtle reshape, although the chances are that they will receive the full LED treatment come launch day.

Once released the 2012 XF will fit in nicely just behind its big brother and hopefully we wont have to wait to long to see the finished article. Check out the link below to see the spy shots of Jaguars new baby, roll on the new XFR that’s all I can say.

Jaguar owners Tata Motors Chief executive – Carl-Peter Forster – has admitted that Jaguar will need a smaller vehicle with higher sales to take on their German competitors across the world. Seen as a BMW 3-series rival the baby Jaguar will replace the X-Type and sit below the XF.

In a report by AutoExpress.co.uk work is said to already be under way on the new model. An all new aluminum rear wheel drive platform hoped to make it the best handling and lightest car of its kind is under development. Being aluminum the car will be lightweight helping with fuel economy.

The model expected in 2012 will have downsized four cylinder petrol and diesel engines powering the new baby jag, and the 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel may also be offered. The company has been doing quite well of late with 6,776 cars sold in June, up 59 per cent on the same month last year.
