Are you thinking about purchasing a new speaker dock for your Apple iPhone or iPod Touch? If you answered that question with a yes, then you might be pleased to know that Sony has recently unveiled 3 new iPhone / iPod docks, starting with the RDP-X60iP model.

As Marc Chacksfield over at techradar.com notes, the RDP-X60iP, which has a 20W+20W output power, is the very first speaker dock from Sony to include Bluetooth functionality. This of course means that users are able to stream their music from any Bluetooth compatible device direct to their dock.

However, if you’re looking for speaker dock with a little more portability, then the Sony RDP-M15iP dock may be the model for you. The RDP-M15iP has half the power (10W+10W) of the RDP-X60iP model, but does feature a rechargeable battery that will keep the dock going for 6 hours.

The RDP-M15iP also comes with a handy travel pouch to keep your speaker dock safe. The final model unveiled by Sony is the compact RDP-M5iP dock. This model requires four AAA batteries, and should provide you with around 10 hours of listening time. It also comes with a grab handle.

Both the RDP-Mi5P and the RDP-X60iP models have been given a UK release date of June, while the RDP-M15iP will be arriving in the UK sometime in July. Are you thinking about buying a new iPhone / iPod speaker dock?

Owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad can now stream their music from their device wirelessly to an iPod docking system, following the launch of the AirPhonic Wirefree Hi-fi Kit.

The AirPhonic allows users to stream their music at full CD quality with no drop-outs or interference. It works with most major brands of Docking system including those from Altec Lansing, Bose, JBL, and many more.

The new system consists of two small dongles; the male version connects to the iDevice while the receiver goes into the docking station. Each dongle will only have to be paired on first use, and allows users remote track and volume control from up to ten meters away.

The Standard edition costs $120.00 in the US with free shipping, while in the UK it costs £79.95 with free shipping. AirPhonic Plus edition costs $135.00/£89.95 with free shipping. This version adds Spotify, Last FM, and YouTube streaming.
