As Edwin over on the coolest-gadgets.com website recently noted, the WOW-keys accessory – which has just been unveiled by CompuExpert, a division of Digital Interactive Systems Corp. – is a full-size QWERTY keyboard that’s specifically designed for the Apple iPhone.

The device also doubles up as a docking device that will not only charge your iPhone via USB, but will also synchronize with your iTunes. WOW-keys functions as the perfect bridge between your iPhone and PC/Mac, and features laptop-style soft keys that enables users to input text comfortably and efficiently.

Users will be able to swap between the PC and iPhone modes quickly simply by the touch of a button, and execute common tasks through the iPhone hotkeys. The WOW-keys iPhone accessory will be hitting retail stores as from May 24th, 2011, with a price tag of $99.99.

Do you think an accessory like this is going too far, or is there really a market for it?

On to the specs of the device, it can play and charge all iPods with dock connections it can also work in conjunction with all iPhones including the iPhone 4. it has a rechargeable lithium battery that you get about 8 hours of use out of. There is a built in 15W sub and bass reflex system, a remote control and it can play other media devices as well that have a 3.5mm connection.
