Some major, major news to bring you now, as it has been confirmed that a group of hackers have managed to gain access to personal details, including email addresses of at least 114,000 iPad owners on AT&T.

As reported from BGR, the list of hacked accounts include pretty big names too. We’re talking about CEOs from the New York Times, execs from Microsoft and Google and even senior figures from the U.S Military and NASA.

How did this happen you ask? Well it turns out, that a group of hackers known as ”Goatse Security” managed to obtain a number of ICC-IDs, prompting them to run a script on AT&T’s website using a fake iPad UserAgent. This then gave them full access to users details, which is obviously a huge issue for AT&T and probably made Steve Jobs rather angry in the process.

It seems like the execution was a simple task for the hackers – pretty worrying when you think about it. Luckily, they informed AT&T of the security flaw and it appears to have been fixed up. Who knows what the lasting damage of this will be though.

Hackers may have access to your email account right now – how does this make you feel?

We have some great news for those of you planning to pick up an iPad 3G, as AT&T has revealed that customers who order before June 7th (i.e WWDC 2010) will still be able to select the unlimited data plan for $30.

As reported from BGR, AT&T seems to have sweetened the deal a little bit, for the millions of you who are still bitter on the carrier’s decision to axe unlimited data in favor of a 2GB data option for $25 per month.

AT&T state that if you order your iPad 3G before June 7th, and even if it arrives after that date, you’ll still be able to sign up to the old plan. Better than nothing eh?

But will this decision make you buy an iPad alone? 2GB or unlimited data for $5 difference a month is certainly a bigger incentive.

Let us know your thoughts on this.
