As far as set-top boxes go, they aren’t usually designed with style in mind. Wistron’s new WiGO line however seems to have taken aesthetics into consideration and have come up with these clear ice-cube looking devices named WiGO 1 and WiGO 2.

Wistron Corporation is an ODM that specializes in service for ICT products, manufacture and design. As Slashgear reports, the two WiGOs have been spotted at the iF Product Design awards at CeBIT which is going on in Hanover at the moment. These unique multimedia centers come with HDMI connections that allow internet, networked and local content to be browsed.

The WiGO 1, which Engadget describes as a ‘prehistoric block of ice’ with a dinosaur egg inside, appears to have no accessible connections but they are just underneath it facing downwards. The WiGO 2 has a more traditional look with an added acrylic cube design to make it more modern looking.

You can take a closer look at both these devices at the iF Design website. What do you think of these devices? Let us know your thoughts below
