This is exciting news for any tech-enthusiasts as it showcases the innovation coming from the powerhouses of technology today. The company is also looking to produce smaller 2.5 inch HDD’s which have 1TB of storage for use in notebooks. This is big news for anyone that is looking to buy a notebook but have concerns over storage capacities.

There is no information yet regarding the release of these models however we can bring you information regarding their specifications. The 3.5 inch drive will run at 5400RPM and will come with a 32MB cache and SATA 6Gb connectivity, the smaller model built for the notebooks features a 5400RPM spindle speed and could be released as soon as April, find out more on TomsHardware.
