Today the company announced their line of video/audio receivers which feature the latest 3D components. The lineup includes the AVR 3650, AVR 2650, AVR 1650 and the AVR 1565. All will feature Harman Kardon’s Logic 7 technology that they use for surround sound processing.

All receivers include the company’s brushed silver and sleek black design. At entry level come the AVR 1565 and AVR 1650 units each with DTS-HD Mater Audio, Dolby True HD and 5.1 channel surround sound. You get 95W per channel with the 1650 and 75 with the 1565.

The two higher lever receivers, the AVR 3650 and AVR 2650 feature network connectivity for streaming radio or music and 7.1 channel surround sound. The 3650 is given six HDMI inputs with 110W per channel while the 2650 gets five HDMI inputs with 90W per channel.

We have some exciting news now for all the Toshiba fans out there who are possibly thinking about updating their current netbooks. The company has just unveiled two new netbooks – the NB500 and the NB520, which comes with two 2-watt Harman Kardon speakers for superior sound quality.

As reported by Tim Stevens over at engadget.com, the NB520 features an Atom N550 processor, a 250GB hard drive, a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 and 2GB of DDR3 memory. The battery on the NB520 will give users around 10 hours battery life.

The NB520 also comes with a Sleep and Music feature, which allows users to plug their MP3 player into the netbook and listen to all their favorite tunes through the speakers without turning the PC on. The other model recently unveiled by Toshiba is the slim mini NB500.

The NB500 is ideal for people who prefer slimmer, more mobile devices and offers pretty much the same specs as the NB520, apart from without the sound system and an Intel Atom N455 processor instead of an N550. Both models will be shipping in the first quarter of next year.

You can read more about the NB520 and NB500 netbooks by visiting engadget.com. Do you like the sound of either of these netbooks?
