If you need a further reminder, the Samsung Nexus S will be available to buy at Best Buy stores and online from December 16th onwards. To get you into the mood, the retailer has posted up a detailed FAQ section, giving you every ounce of information on the handset.

As reported from Phandroid, the FAQ attempts to answer all the questions you may have on the Nexus S, and particularly fix up the confusion some of you may be experiencing over where to actually buy the device.

Just to confirm once more, the Nexus S will be available on contract with T-Mobile, but T-Mobile stores will not be selling the Nexus S on launch. Instead, you’ll have to head down to your nearest Best Buy Mobile store if you plan on picking one up.

Another thing to note, is that the Nexus S is not available for pre-order. Best Buy states that they’ll be offering the handset on a first-come, first-serve basis, and they will make use of a ticketing system to customers to want to buy one this Thursday.

If you are interested in viewing the FAQ, you can see it at Best Buy here. Let us know if you are planning to buy a Nexus S on launch day. Are you surprised that you won’t be able to pick one up from T-Mobile stores directly? Best Buy must have worked their stocks off to get this exclusive deal on arguably the most anticipated handset after the iPhone 4. Either way you look at it, this IS the Google Nexus Two we’re looking at here.

Give us your thoughts on this.

We have a small update on the Samsung Nexus S handset now, as the device has popped up on the infamous FCC website, revealing a few details regarding some hardware changes which you may be interested about.

As reported from Engadget, it isn’t the first time that the Nexus S, also known as the Samsung GT-I9020T, has appeared on the FCC website, but this time it has been revealed that the device has added a collection of Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS antennas from the last time we saw it via the FCC.

Considering that this comes just days after new picture leaks for the device, we think that Samsung and Google are going to find it very hard to keep the Nexus S under wraps from now on. We still don’t know when the phone will be announced, but surely it can’t be much longer?

If you are interested in viewing the latest FCC listing, you can see it here.

After various minor leaks of the Samsung Nexus S handset, we have a treat for you now, as the handset has once again appeared online, but this time revealing a lot more about the OS it will be running – Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

As reported from Engadget, fresh images of the Nexus S have been obtained by the guys over at XDA Developer Forums, and for the first time ever, they give us a solid look at the Gingerbread UI, although the picture quality isn’t too great.

Thanks to the new images, we now have some more spec details for the Nexus S. Potential features include a 4-inch (or higher) SuperAmoled2 display screen, a Dual Core Orion 1GHz CortexA9 processor, either 512 or 328MB of Ram, 720P HD Video, Open GL support, and a screen resolution of 800×480. We already know that the Samsung Nexus S will have a 5MP camera – more details on that here.

Some of the screenshots show the new Gingerbread calling menu, as well as the system settings, seemingly confirming that this is actually the Nexus S and it runs OS version 2.3.

Check out the pictures over at XDA here, they even state that more pictures are on the way – so that’s something to look forward to. Let us know your thoughts on Gingerbread, do you like the UI or not?

We have another treat in store for those of you keeping a close eye on any developments regarding the upcoming Samsung Nexus S handset, as another picture has leaked on to the internet, giving you the chance to see a side view of the device.

The new picture comes courtesy of Engadget, and you can check it out below. A lot of talk lately has been about the curved design format for the Nexus S, and the picture below gives you another look at this properly.

Personally, I love the choice of design for the Nexus S, as you can see, it’s a lot different to the Samsung Galaxy S and the fact that it is going to carry the Nexus tag means that it is probably a day-one purchase for a lot of you anyway.

We informed you last week about Google’s CEO showing off the Nexus S at the webOS 2.0 summit, but if the leaks keep up at this rate, they’ll have to dish the dirt on it sooner or later. Check out the photo below and let us know your thoughts on the design.

We have some exciting news to bring to those who have been keeping an eye on the Samsung Nexus S developments, as Google CEO Eric Schmidt has just given the device an unofficial unveiling at the webOS 2.0 summit event.

As reported from Engadget, Schmidt was showing off the phone at the summit, but he was careful not to give out any specific information regarding specs, manufacturer or carrier, until an official announcement is made.

However, new photos captured from the event have suggested that the Nexus S, still likely to be made by Samsung, will be heading towards T-Mobile as previous rumors suggest. The images also reveal a high res AMOLED of some sort, and volume controls on the left-hand side of the device.

Engadget point out that the device is as thin as the iPhone 4, if not even thinner, and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread interface will feature a rather cool ‘screen-off’ animation, which you can check out below. Have a look at the photos yourself over at Engadget and let us know your thoughts on the Nexus S.

Are you definitely getting one or not?

Following on from the recent leaked photographs of the Google Nexus Two, now known to be called the Samsung ‘Neuxs S’, we now have more details for you, this time showing a few sample pictures from the Nexus S camera.

As reported from TechCrunch, three low-quality images have appeared on a Google Picasa album online, and we can see that the photos were definitely taken with the Nexus S, thanks to the included photo information besides the pictures.

While the photos itself are nothing special, the important information to come out of them is the fact that the Nexus S is likely to be equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, which may be a disappointment for some of you expecting an 8MP+ sensor.

If you’d like to see the photos, you’ll find them over at TechCrunch. Are you disappointed that the Nexus S will only come with a 5MP camera or not?

Over the past few weeks we have seen a number of rumors regarding the Google Nexus Two, we now know that this will be called the Samsung Nexus S. We had assumed that this would have been announced at the recent Android event, but it did not come. It seems that Best Buy has the scoop on this handset, which you can see unboxing photos of by visiting Engadget.

This phone has a number of things going for it, Android updates direct from Google being the biggest advantage. However, there are so many other factors that we need to consider when talking about how popular this handset will become, and knowing if it will be a multi-carrier handset is important.

Most phones that are launched today are only available on one network, the Samsung Galaxy S changed all this by offering it to all major U.S. carriers, and a couple of small ones as well.

Mashable has a poll running at the moment asking if you would like to see the Google / Samsung Nexus S handset, and most people said that this would depend on what features it has, the price and which carrier. If Google and Samsung want to have any success with this handset, then multicarrier is the way forward.

Earlier on we showed you the first images of what looks to be the final model of the rumored Google Nexus Two, and now we want to get further feedback from you with regards to the design of the handset.

The previous reports also indicated that this handset will now be known as the Samsung Nexus S, and not Samsung Nexus Two or Google Nexus Two as previously thought. The good news, is that this handset will definitely be rocking a version of Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread to back up previous claims, and that it could be on it’s way to T-Mobile first.

What are your thoughts on the design though – do you like it? It is similar in appearance to the Galaxy S which is also quite a sexy phone, but you have to say that the Nexus S looks way slicker. We’re loving the trim around the outside edges and is it me, or is that display screen bigger than the Galaxy S?

Hopefully we’ll be able to bring you more details specs and other juicy information on the Nexus S soon – stay tuned for that. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts on the design – do you think it looks nicer than the iPhone 4 or not?

Those of you who are keeping tabs on the Nexus Two, otherwise known as the Nexus S may have a little shred of hope that the device’s release date is coming real soon. You can thank Best Buy for that.

According to two articles at Engadget, Best Buy Mobile first published a fairly small and inconspicuous advert that stated that the Nexus S was “Available only at Best Buy this holiday season,” with an option to pre-order. It has since been removed.

The second inkling also came from Best Buy, but this time rather than having a text-based advert that also advertised ‘Pure Google,’ they have a so-called image of a device that looks remarkably similar to that of what we now know as the Nexus Two or Nexus S (whichever you prefer).

The image, well, rather an “In Store” web-based flier looks like it is running stock Android (could be 2.3), and comes complete with a front facing camera.

Make of it what you will, but we seriously do hope that Samsung / Google / T-Mobile / Best Buy are serious about the next incarnation of the Nexus… even though we did get told it was not coming at all by a Google CEO.

If you consider yourself to be a Samsung smartphone enthusiast, then you’ll already know that today is the day when the company are expected to announce and unveil a brand new smartphone.

All signs are pointing in the direction that it’s gonna be the Samsung Continuum handset on Verizon, but we’re hoping (and secretly praying) that it is the rumored Google Nexus Two which is apparently being made by Samsung, although we also heard that it has been delayed.

We’ve just heard that the official user manual for the Continuum has already been provided by Verizon, which is a bit odd since they didn’t let Samsung officially announce the device yet. Hopefully in a few hours we’ll be able to bring you full details on the reveal.

Will it be the Continuum or Nexus Two? Let us know what your predictions are.
