As Jon Jordan over at pocketgamer.co.uk recently noted, the Big Time Gangsta game takes the atmosphere of the Grand Theft Auto series and combines it with gameplay similar to that of the hugely popular Mafia Wars. The game involves players taking over different territory across a top-down city map.

Players will of course be able to unlock better equipment such as ammo, guns, health packs and other power-ups. All players have to do to conquer a building is simply tap on a location that has a gun icon on it. This enables them to see the strength of the opposing gang.

They can then choose which gang members they want to select for the battle that’s ahead. The Big Time Gangsta game then goes into an Advance Wars-type face-off between the two gangs. The player’s gang is displayed on the left hand side of the screen, while the opposing gang will be on the right.
