As reported from VG247, Sony has been bigging up the Motion Controller reveal for a month now, so its certainly something that a lot of you are looking forward to. We will also be able to see what type of games will be compatible with the motion controller – one of which is already Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, which we confirmed here.

The event itself is scheduled to take place at 12am GMT, or 7pm PST depending on where you are. Dont forget, you’ll also be able to watch a live stream of the event, courtesy of G4. Full details on that can be seen here.

We have some bad news though.

As reported from Kotaku, these cases will ‘never’ see a public release according to Capcom – as they only handed out a select few to people attending their press conference at GDC.

Which is a shame, as I think this case looks rather cool. Maybe if there is enough positive feedback – Capcom will have a change of heart and start mass producing those babies.

Not bad for a days work eh?

As reported from VideoGamer, Square-Enix managed 2 million units in Japan when it was launched exclusively on PS3 on December 17th. Who knows what the total could be once first week sales are in – Square could have a record-breaker on their hands.

It will be interesting to see whether Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama mentions initial sales figures during his speech at GDC tomorrow. We’ll have to wait and see.

The screenshots are from EA direct, but have been uploaded thanks to VG247. Sure this will appeal to golf fans the most, but we reckon this latest version might tempt non-lovers to give it a try, especially those of you with a PS3, since it will come with ‘ArC’ motion support.

Golf fans will also be pleased to know this will be the first title to feature the famous Ryder cup. Check out a few shots below, then head to VG247 for the rest. Let us know what you think of them.

As reported from VG247, the main reason is ‘timing’ – according to EA. Tiger Woods is out June 8th, presumably meaning that Project Natal will not be ready in time for this date.

What we do know though, is that the PS3 Motion Controller, or Arc, will be ready when this title launches – which means that Sony may have some very exciting news to reveal about their motion controller at GDC.
