We have reported on a NZXT gaming mouse before and the company’s attention to detail. Now today we can tell you that NZXT have revealed the Avatar S advanced gaming mouse, their latest addition to their award winning line up.

The new device offers simple and precise gaming control with an array of innovative features. In some ways similar to the original Avatar, the new version has a sleek design with an ambidextrous low profile form factor. The mouse has Teflon feet which makes it ideal for quick precise movements on any surface.

Users can have complete personalization of the mouse with a DPI switch that adjusts 1600/800/400DPI in-game, with no need to download different drivers. There is also the ability to configure in-game macros, X-Y sensitivity, LED lighting, and five media keys. All the customizable features can be saved onto the in-built 16Kb memory.

For all of you gamers that have already worn out your mouse after the release of WoW Cataclysm, we have a new gaming mouse that you will no doubt be interested in. The design of the mouse is amazing, the molten look of cracked rock, with intricate details spanning across the mouse means that it really looks the part, but can it play the part?

The Mouse is priced at $79.99, but what do you get for your money? The mouse has 5600dpi with a 3.5G Laser Sensor. It has 17 fully programmable MMO-optimized buttons, 12 of those buttons are on a thumb grid and it works with a PC or a Mac.

There have been a couple of buyer’s who have given feedback on the official RazerZone website. Damien said “Best mouse out there atm. Played at a friends and took on full wrathful solo.” He also rated it at 5 stars.

One of Mashable’s writers has also written an article on the mouse, he has included a gallery of pictures for your viewing pleasure. We did also talk to you about the Razer Naga MMO mouse, which is pretty much the same as this one but in cool blue, you can read more about it here. Another thing that you should know, over on Razor’s website you can view a number of videos of the device, once of them has been included at the bottom of the article.

The big question, would you pay $80 for a gaming mouse? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

The Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 gaming mouse was mentioned some time last year, and again at CES 2010, so was pleasantly surprised when the device was finally released. You can see from the images that nothing has changed, so that tells us that the thing is big and heavy; although Devin Coldewey from CrunchGear thinks it is awesome.

The concept behind the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 is that it is a customizable mouse, Coldewey points to the fact that this has already been done before. I have to say that not like this though; I do agree that the thing looks heavy, but it is much better to feel the weight of something while gaming – I believe this helps you to stay in control.

Having a brief look at the review of the device, it is clear to see that Coldewey thinks that the R.A.T. 9 is awesome, the fact that it has a precise sensor and he loves the hair-trigger main buttons. However, there is a downside; some might think that the mouse is a bit on the large side and that it eats battery life.

For those of you who love your gaming, then the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 is one to consider, but the reviewer believes that there are better options out there. Two that he mentions is a Mamba or Logitech MX Revolution.

I know a few PC gamers, and I am not certain that they will be too happy changing the batteries that often, this could be the one thing that goes against it. Do you think that will make a difference?

For those of you Mad Catz fans, then maybe you should consider the new accessories just for Black Ops.
