Beyond Good and Evil 2 for PS3 & Xbox 360: Debut teaser trailer plus images

The long awaited sequel to Beyond Good and Evil comes “Good and Evil 2” which will be for the Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 seems pretty hot, well judging on the debut teaser trailer and images

These images have been released by Ubisoft and must say the graphics are looking hot, the question is will the gameplay graphics be as hot? It does look hot though and really liking this one, as they all say save the best for last and this is what happened at Ubidays 2008 where CEO Yves Guillemot had a final note to reveal. A platform hasn’t yet been announced but as usual we are all hoping it finds its way to us.

Obviously not to much information about this game other than there are apparently between 10-12 people are working on the game, the game has been in production for the past year, Ubisoft has not decided on whether or not to move into a production phase, of course they will come on. Beyond Good & Evil has to be the most criminally ignored videogame with photo-journalism, political intrigue, and genre-busting adventure. Come on get this game to us soon or we will all be angry.

New Trailer of Dracula: Origin the bloodthirsty vampire PC game releases 6th June 2008

And we can see PC gamers loving this one especially if you are bloodthirsty or a romantic.

The game Dracula: Origin is pretty much a dark new adventure game for the PC from Ascaron Entertainment and 93 Games and it is basically putting you in the role of Professor Van Helsing who is the well known vampire hunter on a quest for Dracula. You will have to keep your wits about you when hunting down the history’s most famous vampire who liberates people’s souls who have crossed his path and preventing him from raising the dead.

Dracula is a very good looking man (Apparently) and was abandoned by his one true love and this is why he transforms into this evil monster you see within the game, he loses faith in God and signs a pact with the Prince of Darkness, it is now Dracula becomes the blood thirsty vampire who is doomed to eternal damnation. The game shows that Dracula whilst on one side shows his charismatic gentleman behaviour and on the other side posses a dark disturbing side, the trailer which you can see by click the link below shows Dracula holding Mina’s head and yes you can unmistakable see bite marks on her neck show that moments before he was quenching his thirst for blood.

Iron Man Video Review: Is this PS3 and Xbox 360 game for kids?

As we all know Iron Man was a massive success in the theatres but is the same for the game? Donning the red suit Iron Man for the gaming world looks good or does it look bad, we will leave that one up to you to decide. The Sega title for PS3 and Xbox 360 players take control of Tony Stark ripping apart tanks, catching fighter jets and flying high. The billionaire hero’s game shiny and polished or covered in a thick layer of tarnish? Runs parallel to the story of the film, the games plot attempts to excite and whoa us and the graphics look pretty decent compared to a lot of games on the market.

The only downsides to this game is the fact that if you have not seen the film in the theatres we can see you having real troubles understanding the story, for example if you have not seen the film but go and play the game you will not know about the power cell on iron mans chest.

The game is about of course the development of the suit and villains of course within the game have their very own suits, the game consists of a dozen missions including cities, deserts and flying fortresses. Each mission is similar, you basically fly to an area and then identify your targets and destroy them all and then take on the next set of targets.

I have not seen this film yet but have heard it is a great film to watch, but will this game be all what it is said to be. So is this game good or not, personally it seems a pretty good game but plots and storyline is pretty thin.

Saints Row 2 Gang Leader Interview: Did they copy GTAIV gameplay files?

The video below is of the THQ Gamers’ Day 08 Saints Row 2 Gang Leader Interview, it is about the lead designer giving the scoop on how to take over the city from rival gangs by drug trade, by violence and breaking them down piece by piece.

What we like was a comment sent in saying this –

Is it just me or did the developers get their hands on GTAIV gameplay files and copy everything they could, cheaply. Main character voice hmm who else did that? Three choices for each sex real shocking probably couldn’t possibly fit more in. “saints row 2 has the best customization of any game right now, you can choose male or female, change your clothes …” shocking, really. Helicopters, one word – inventive, and really who wants to control half that’s just ridiculous. Ambient and active gameplay? Are you serious douche bag it’s an open world game you don’t need to reiterate to sound legitimate. “the complexity of co op is far beyond any other game single player co op or otherwise” - ..learn English, and if that were coherent it would still be an outlandish lie, good job saints row 2 you’ll probably sell under 500k copies, good choice releasing it right on top of your biggest, and better competitor.

EA Announce UK launch date for music game Rock Band

A date has finally been announced for the UK release of the highly publicised music game Rock Band. EA have said that the game is due for release on the 23rd May for Xbox 360 but for the PlayStation 3 and PS2 editions there is still no date for when it will be but it is due for a summer release.

The game features 59 songs and with further downloadable tracks available from the 27th May for around 160 Microsoft points.

Nintendo plan to spend $40m launching Wii Fit: Releases in UK April 25, USA May 19th

You probably all well know now that the Nintendo Wii Fit releases in the UK on April 25th, but what you may not know is that Nintendo plan to spend $40m on the Wii Fit launch.

The Wii Fit game obviously a massive hit with the American weight-loss market and diet-hungry Americans following its release on May 19th. This game could sell as much as 4 million copies following the American release.

If these figures are correct then it would beat one of the best shooter games out at the moment Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare which has sold more than 3 million copies to date is the US.

Wii Fit has already sold 1.5 million copies in Japan; we can see smashing the charts hands down.

Mario Kart Grand Wii competition: win Nintendo Mario themed VW Beetle

Game have a great new competition which will run on April 5th, it will be part of a promotion ahead of the release of Mario Kart on the Nintendo Wii. The competition is called Mario Kart Grand Wii, and you will have a go at the new game and to see who can post the fastest lap time.

All players that enter the Mario Kart Grand Wii competition will get a certificate which will show their laptime, they will then be entered into a prize draw. They can win a £50 Game voucher; the winner from the store will then win a £250 Experience Day voucher. Then at the Mario Kart Grand Wii launch party the grand final of the races will happen, where the winner will walk away with a Mario themed VW Beetle.

Miss Bimbo Internet Game encourages youngsters: Should we really have games like this?

An internet based game called “Bimbo” has said to encourage youngsters to become the best ever bimbo and a famous one at that, this game has been criticised for putting pressure on the young generation.

It is basically a game where you can create your very own character and where you can choose if you want to give it your very own boob job, some may say this is a silly game and some may say that it would make youngsters see what the world is really all about.

Eating disorder organisations and parent groups have voiced their opinions over the Miss Bimbo website which puts itself across as a virtual fashion game. The games has many things such as virtual medication and plastic surgery, bimbo dollars and you can even feed your bimbo vegetables, chocolate, steak and chips.

The site already has more than 200,000 registered users - mostly young girls and it’s only been around for about a month.

Do we really need 200 possible endings on Fallout 3 game?

We all like playing games and we really love the ending to be fantastic, but do we really need 200 possible endings on Fallout 3 game?

Yes most games have one ending and we all know that some games offer different endings, but 200 come on that is a bit much isn’t it. Fallout 3 apparently and according to a recent podcast with Bethesda’s Todd Howard there will be 200 possible endings which in my eyes is pathetic.

If the game is that good then we can see this working but would you really play the game 200 times just to see a different ending? (I think not people).

I really want to know what you think of 200 possible endings on Fallout 3.

Sony PSP gets new colorization service April 14th from ColorWare

Yes we all know you want to personalize your boring old Sony PSP because you think it is too bland, ok yes you can wait a while for new limited editions which do come out now and then or you could go over to ColorWare.

ColorWare plan to unveil their new PSP colorization service on April 14th, this is not concrete seeing has nothing has been officially announced but it is safe to say that you can either buy new or even send in your old PSPs that ColorWare already offers for the Nintendo DS Lite.

Oh yes new colors new gaming as they say.

Bully: Scholarship Edition game causes Xbox 360 to crash

It has been reported that gamers have been expressing their outrage over a debilitating bug found in the newly released Rockstar Xbox 360 title Bully: Scholarship Edition.

Complaints have appeared on the official Xbox forums, as well as various blogs after players saw their Xbox 360 crash as well as skipping audio and suffering a poor graphical framerate.

According to digitalspy Rockstar spokesperson told GamesIndustry said that “We are very aware of the problems some people have been experiencing with the Xbox 360 version of Bully: Scholarship Edition and have been doing everything within our powers to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. We will be releasing a title update through Xbox Live within the next week that we are confident will rectify the problem. We apologise wholeheartedly for the inconvenience that this matter has caused some owners of the game.”
