Patch for GTA IV: freezing and multiplayer connectivity issues solved

Ok so you decided to purchase the much anticipated game GTA IV, you un-wrapped the game and then slipped it inside your Sony PS3 or Xbox 360 and decide to see what all the hype was about. Well after plying Grand Theft Auto IV for a while you realized that the game had some issues, which left us screaming out for a patch.

The issues with the game included freezing and multiplayer connectivity issues, well Rockstar have finally released a patch for the game that solves these issues. The GTA IV patch contains 11 fixes for both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, Rockstar hope that the patch will help to cheer up all the gamers that have been left frustrated with these problems.

However; do not get too exited just yet, as the game still has a number of bugs that Rockstar still has to address. Don’t get me wrong this patch does fix some of the most important issues, which we hope will keep you happy until further bug fixes are available.

Some of the fixes include issue where players were unable to enter or exit vehicles in GTA Race, issue where scripted vehicles were causing games to unexpectedly crash, Improved reliability and frequency of PS3™ online leaderboard updates, Fixed an issue where players were able to get ridiculously high scores from Cops ‘n Crooks matches.
