You got to love a war between two major phones, ok maybe not a war but a simple “Who is the best” battle. We all know that the Apple iPhone has iTunes and it works well, but now it seems that the G1 Android smartphone will have Amazon Music.

According to Phones Review the G1 Android phone will have an Amazon music and video store application, so surely this is an “iPhone iTunes versus G1 Android Amazon Music” battle.

The iPhone is definitely a cool iPod as well as a smartphone and the iPod is the key feature here, we all know that through T-Mobile who is going to sell the G1 cannot get iTunes but Amazon’s app will be the way to go. October 17 is the day that the G1 should go on sale if all goes well and it is a must that all new buyers can have something like what the iPhone has, all we say is, let the battle begin.

Phones Review has reported that the T-Mobile G1 Android phone is here. Now the hot talks at the moment are of course all surrounding the awesome looking T-Mobile G1 Android phone and what a phone it is going to be.

Will it beat the likes of the iPhone is something we will have to wait and see, many of you are no doubt a little excited about this new cell phone and we can understand why after looking at this official photo below. Let me give you a recap on the key features of the T-Mobile G1 Android phone, 480 x 320 HVGA display, 3.1 megapixel camera, weighs only 5.6 ounces, supports up to 8GB memory but must remind you that no formats have been specified yet, GPS, 3G, 130 hours on standby, 5 hours talk time and 4.6 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches in size.

How on earth they missed out Stereo Bluetooth is beyond me but they have, and no video capture is another downside. Now let me get to the strangest part, the G1 Android phone is not going to be sold in stores if it is outside a 2.5 mile radius of T-Mobiles 3G coverage area.
