Earlier on today we informed our readers that Fujifilm had recently unveiled its new FinePix F600 EXR camera, which as we mentioned comes with a rather interesting feature known as Landmark Navigator. However, that wasn’t the only digital camera that the company revealed recently, as we’ve just discovered that they’ve also announced the FinePix JX370.

As Zoltan Arva-Toth over on the photographyblog.com website recently noted, the Fujilfilm FinePix JX370 is an affordable, entry-level camera that’s ideal for those that like to shoot and share their photos with the least amount of fuss. The JX370 comes with a 14-megapixel resolution, a 5x optical zoom, a metallic-effect finish and high-definition 720p video recording.

All users have to do to share their images is simply scroll through them on the camera’s 2.7-inch rear LCD screen, mark the ones they want published and once the device is connected to their computer, the photographs will be instantly uploaded to Facebook or YouTube via the company’s MyFinePix Studio software. It also comes with the Photobook Assist feature.

The Photobook Assist feature enables users to create a photobook in the camera, and preview it by flicking through the pages on the LCD display. The Fujifilm FinePix JX370 may be small enough to fit in your pocket, but it definitely doesn’t lack in terms of features. Speaking of features, the JX370 also comes with digital image stabilization and ISO sensitivity up to 3200.

If users don’t want to manually select from the wide range of shooting modes available (including Panoramic shooting mode), they do have the option of selecting the SR Auto mode to allow the camera to choose for them. The Fujifilm FinePix JX370 model also comes with Face, Smile and Blink Detection modes, as well as an I-Flash function.

As for pricing and availability, the FinePix JX370 – which will be available in silver, black and pink – will be available to purchase in the UK as from October this year for a RRP of just £89. Are you thinking about buying a new camera?

There are quite a few digital cameras on the market that offer GPS / geotagging capabilities, enabling users to tag their photos with the exact location in which it was taken. However, Fujifilm appear to have taken the GPS concept one step further with their recently unveiled FinePix F600 EXR camera, which comes with a rather interesting feature called Landmark Navigator.

According to a recent article over at engadget.com by Zach Honig, the new Landmark Navigator feature will display places of interest on the Fujifilm FinePix F600 EXR camera’s 3-inch LCD screen. In fact, the mode is said to include one million pre-loaded places of interest from all across the world. It even enables users to add their own locations.

The FinePix F600 EXR camera’s 16-megapixel EXR-CMOS sensor – first seen in the F550 EXR model – now comes with the new EXR Auto mode with Motion Detection capabilities, which reduces subject blur in low lighting conditions. The FinePix F600 EXR also comes with a 15x wide-angle optical zoom, which offers users the 35mm equivalent of a 24-360mm lens.

Thanks to the FinePix F600 EXR’s new intelligent digital zoom mode, even the most distant of objects can be made into frame-filling close-ups. Other interesting features on the F600 EXR include the Photo Navigation mode, which enables users to find their way back to previously photographed places and Tracking Data, which allows them to track a route of their travels.

Those who enjoy capturing video footage as well as stills will be pleased to know that the FinePix F600 EXR camera – which also features a 12,800 ISO high-sensitivity mode – does come with full HD 1080p movie capture with stereo sound. It also comes with a high-speed movie option that enables users to freeze fast moving action at up to an amazing 320 frames per second.

Other features include a rubberized body coating (on the black model only), Photobook Assist function, 33MB of internal memory and SDHC, SD and SDXC card compatibility. Are you thinking about buying a new camera? If so, do you like the sound of the FinePix F600 EXR?

You may recall us bringing you news of the Fujifilm X100 previously. The popular retro style 12.3mp camera was found it wasn’t sitting on store shelves for very long despite its $1,200 price tag. It was so popular that there were shortages.

These initial shortages were later reported to be resolved come the end of March however these shortages were made worse when the Japan crisis forced the company to cease production. Now the company has announced it is to begin production again.

The news comes from an article at Electronista which explains the X100 is expected to hit the store shelves again in the next week or so.

The product itself is a compact digital camera with a 23mm fixed lens, a 2.8” LCD display and 20MB of storage with support for additional storage from SD cards.

For more information check out the full article at Electronista where you will find more details about the camera’s specs. What do you think of the camera? Were you one of the people affected by delays? Let us know in the comments below.

Each year the consumer industry goes through phases, we know that 2010 was about 3D TV – as well this year – and we know that 2011 will also be about the tablet. However, when it comes to the camera market, then CES 2011 will show you that it will all be about superzoom, and Fujifilm and their Finepix range will be at the forefront.

The camera maker does not have the products to compete with the likes of Canon and Panasonic, but they are more affordable, and you can see this with the range of new cameras that will be shown off in Las Vegas. There are three new ranges; the first is the superzoom, with the HS20EXR, F500EXR and F550EXR making up the range. However, if you are looking for something with even more zoom, then the new range of SLR’s might appeal to you. The best thing is, they cost half as much as you would pay for a rival brand. More details from Engadget.

For those looking for something simpler then maybe you will want a point and shoot camera, and Fujifilm will have 6 new models on show at CES. These are as follows: The Z90, AV200, AX300, JV200, JX and T series, with prices ranging from $89.99 to $199.95. The Z90 will be on sale in just over two weeks, the AV200, AX300 and JV200 in February, the T200 in March and the T300 in April. Get spec and exact price details here.

The final camera that Fujifilm will be showing during the Consumer Electronics Show is the waterproof Finepix XP30. This is an updated version of the XP10 and will be GPS-enabled and will ship next month for a price of $239.95, there is to also be a new XP20, this will cost $199.99 and will be ready for shipping in March.

Today has been a busy day for camera enthusiasts as a number of these devices have been announced, such as the Pentax K-5 DSLR. However, it is the Fujifilm Finepix X100 that has got my attention, as it is a welcome break from the range of four-thirds cameras that we have been inundated with in recent months.

The Finepix X100 is a hybrid with its 12MP lens and APS-C DSLR sensor. Just looking at the camera screams old school, most of this is thanks to a viewfinder – something that is missing from most digital cameras on the market.

This is no ordinary viewfinder though, as it will overlay certain information for you. Not only will you be looking at the actual image, but you can also access the data, as you would on an LCD display on most other digital cameras.

Mic Wright from Electric Pig picks up on the fact that the looks and some of the specs are much the same as the Leica X1 – although the latter is certain to have the edge. The release date for the Finepix X100 is not expected to be until early next year.
