Fallout New Vegas promised so much before its release, but has since had a number of problems that has spoiled users experience with it. The game itself is good – you just have to hope that yours does not crash and freeze on you. There is an alternative for those who have been put off the latest Bethesda game, and that is Vanquish.

The first thing you need to be aware of is that the game is shorter than New Vegas – so that is reflected in its price. Gavin Mackenzie from PLAY Magazine says that if you have the budget then you will want to buy both, but if you had to choose then it would have to be Vanquish.

Mackenzie has a few good reasons for his choice, which can be read in his full review of the game. He has split it into 6 areas, and explains his reasons behind each of his findings. The comparisons were made on Graphics, Sound, Longevity, Hardcore-ness, Story, and Humour.

Fallout New Vegas and Vanquish scored three-out-of-three, but Mackenzie believes that Vanquish has the edge, as it seems polished compared to New Vegas.

Having never played either game I am in no position to choose, but you are – what game would you rather play?

The 2010 Medal of Honor reboot has certainly had its fair share of average reviews, although the overall metascore has not been as bad as we first thought. Having said that, some of our readers have said that they will be canceling pre-orders and will wait for Call of Duty Black Ops instead.

There has certainly been a huge response to the new Medal of Honor game, but sadly in a negative way. One reader of ours suggests that MoH was just a b-grade FPS. You can be sure that fans of the game will defend it, but we cannot help but wonder if they are backing the wrong team?

EA recently said that this is just the start of the franchise again, and that there is more to come with newer versions. This is 2010 – the game developer should have given us a game that is worthy of a modern day first person shooter.

There are so many things wrong with Medal of Honor, such as sub-par graphics, unoriginal weapons and a basic lack of performance. All we know is, this game is nothing like what Black Ops is expected to be. Do you think poor Medal of Honor reviews will help COD Black Ops sales?

Whenever we hear that a new Sonic game is to be released I think of my youth and how its rival Mario has left our speedy hedgehog behind. The long awaited Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I game will make its way to consoles next week as a DLC, with Sonic Colors following after.

It is such a sad thought to realize that Sonic has been left behind, as first person shooters offers a challenge that our blue friend is unable to win. Jim Avery from GamerTVNetwork also points out that Sonic is unable to compete with the likes of his old rival Mario as well.

There are so many reasons for this, but the main one is Sega is no longer the powerhouse they once were – not having a current games console is the biggest problem. Who would have thought that Nintendo from the 80’s would still have the biggest selling games console?

OK, so we know that the Wii and DS do not offer the kind of graphics that the PS3 or Xbox can give, but games like Mario have never been about that. Nintendo has always been in touch with the user, and what most of us want is a game that relieves the stress and just have fun – yes FPS games offer fun, but I cannot say that they alleviate my stress, can you?

Do you think that there is still a future for Sonic, or should he hang up his white sneakers and retire to Florida?
