This December DLC is scheduled for release December 6th and boasts another 10 new cars; each different from the 10 brought to you in the previous DLC. Just as with last month’s pack this DLC will cost you nothing extra providing you have the Forza 4 Season Pass which could have been purchased for $29,99 previously and for those that do not possess the pass it will set you back 560 MS Points.

The 10 new cars that will be available once the DLC has been obtained can be found listed below:

As you can see from the list above, this month’s DLC offers a lot more in terms of classic cars. They also range in design from the classic ’67 Chevrolet Chevelle to the very modern and modded Monster Sport Suzuki SX4 from 2011. The game that will be available in a few days time was put through its paces by Jordan Mallory of Joystiq, and says that Turn 10 have achieved a game that offers an “exhilarating racing experience to each and every player who gets behind the proverbial wheel”.

The Career Mode has a great opening sequence with Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson having some welcome input. It has some great difficulty settings that will allow gamers to adjust how much of a simulation Forza 4 plays like. Bonuses begin off in a way that where is seems arcade like game play is wrong, but in reality rewards skillful driving.

After each race you are provided with Affinity Points, money, and Driver XP, and at no time are you let with a car that is not up to the job in hand. The games upgrade system will allow you to make your vehicle really competitive, no matter how high the events.

There is a great variety of events in the game that will provide no end of excitement, and the physics engine and landscapes provide a rewarding driving experience. Forza 4s multiplayer modes give players instant access to all the games vehicles. This means the game is more about driver skill over game progression where you would normally have to unlock the better cars.

The system will keep the field even, so more experienced players are not continually beating novices because of hardware supremacy. Players that win multiplayer rewards will see these find their way into their Career Mode totals. If you use a car in multiplayer mode it is possible to gain Affinity points, and do away with the cars upgrade cost before you can even purchase it.

Both Career and multiplayer modes work nicely together with neither taking priority, and no matter what mode you prefer, you won’t be missing out. There are many features of the game that lean to an arcade style racer, but it is a great sim-style racer. There is plenty of realism and if you want over the top explosions it’s not the game for you.

The review is summed up by saying the game is great for players who want to improve their driving skills in the game, and provides a great challenge. It is also given four and half stars out of five, which is pretty impressive.

The big news from E3 this time is that Forza has doubled its multiplayer capabilities by allowing up to 16 player online multiplayer. Yes, this means that this year, you and 15 other racers will be able to race alongside one another on a single race track when the title to be released on October 11. This alongside the game’s Kinect support makes it a huge improvement when compared to the last Forza installment.

You can see a trailer from Strategyinformer which shows you the E3 presentation followed by the Forza game in action. If you are a fan of the series you will be pleased with the outcome. We also noticed that if you live in the U.K or are just a big fan of Top Gear UK, you will probably recognise the Top Gear track that looks like it may make an appearance in the game.

As a bonus to the release of this game, racers may want to know about the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel that is on its way and could be arriving just in time for Forza 4. It will retail at around $60 and should fit hand-in-hand with the racing prodigy’s release. The team over at Electronic Theatre are reporting that Forza 4 will be available during the fall and for gamers purchasing it early will get an exclusive five car pack. The cover for the game shows the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Turn 10 team have said they worked with the Italian sports car maker to have every detail of the car in the game.

There will be some copies of the game at launch which will have an exclusive in-game car pack. This will include five cars for fans to race, paint, tune, and share but will be limited to the first batch of the game. The cars include a 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, 2011 RUF RGT-8, 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport, and the 1997 Lexus SC300.

According to a recent article by Owen Good at uk.kotaku.com, the survey, which was sent to the guys at Kotaku by an unidentified tipster, asked for people’s reactions to specific statements regarding possible features. This included support for the Xbox 360 Kinect, which we already knew about.

Other features hinted at include head tracking, which enables players to use their head in order to move the game’s camera, the ability to control the interface and menu by the player’s voice and controller free steering, which is done by the player holding their hands at the 10 and 2 positions.

The survey also claimed that the Forza 4 game’s graphic fidelity would be ten times better than the previous versions. Other hints given were that the racing simulator game would feature over 500 cars from 80 different manufacturers, as well as a new career mode that involves ‘an automotive world tour.’
