The game was only released on October 11 in the US, but if you’re hungry for even more cars, you’ll be pleased to know that the November Speed pack adds no fewer than 10 new cars to whiz around the track with, although some of you may feel that they should have been included in the standard game.

There are some luxurious models in there for sure, we bet that a lot of you can’t wait to try out that new Lamborghini or Aston Martin. Here’s the important information if you plan on getting these: Turn 10 will be putting the November Speed Pack up for download on November 1st, and it will be available to buy from the Xbox Marketplace for 560 of your precious Microsoft Points.

For 10 new cars, that’s not a bad deal at all. Don’t forget that if you paid $29.99 for the Forza 4 season pass, this content will be free to download for you as part of the six DLC packs that you’ll get for signing up. The first pack was the American Muscle Cars so this November Speed pack will count as the second pack out of six – so four more updates to come guys.

Early into your Forza 4 career you wont have many credits, so the last thing you want to do is waste your money on a car which struggles to keep up with the competition, if you have 10,000 credits you should check out the Acura RSX Type-S – it’s a great all-rounder. Soon you will begin to notice it is no match for the competition, obviously you could spend credits on upgrades, but we recommend going as far as you can to save up your credits, obviously this is our suggestion and by no means the ultimate strategy but we recommend saving 26K credits and then buying the BMW 2003 M5.

Soon into your career you will have enough credits to ensure that one poor purchase won’t ruin your career, so the best thing to do is buy something which suits your driving style and then upgrading it as your continue your journey, as usual there are lots of good basic models to start with, but we think that you will do well to better the TVR Tuscan S.

Once you consider yourself a Forza 4 pro, the credits will come in quicker than you can spend them, so what car should you save for? Well if you check out NowGamer you can see the game’s top 10 cars, apparently the Peugeot Matmut-Oreca 908 is the best in the game, but it will set you back a whopping 2.5 million credits.

Again this would not have been much of a surprise for some as Forza Motorsport 4 from Microsoft was always going to sell well with the franchise being so popular, but being an Xbox 360 exclusive, to knock a game that is available across all platforms off of the top spot is great achievement.

Considering the fact that FIFA 12 had one of best-selling debut weeks ever, breaking records and selling more than 3 million copies in the first week of sales, makes Microsoft’s achievement even more impressive. It only just managed to nip in front of the popular football title however, beating it by 700 copies. FIFA 12 still remains unbeaten when it comes to fastest selling game of 2011 at the moment though, with MW3 expected to challenge that title.

With the sales of FIFA 12 being so high to begin with, it was inevitable that they would decline, but they have declined substantially in the last by 62% helping Forza 4 take the thrown and the title of best-selling launch week ever for an Xbox 360 racing game. As TechWatch points out, Just Dance three took third place while last week’s number two, Rage, only managed fourth. PES 2012 could only manage fifth place, meaning FIFA 12 was truly the dominant soccer game of the year. This was also a bit of a surprise considering PES debuted at number two last year.

Turn 10′s fourth entry in the successful Xbox franchise has seemingly come out of nowhere, as it hasn’t really received much attention, as say Forza 3 did in the build up to its release back in 2009.

The new game has so far received rave reviews, with gaming sites such as IGN awarding the game a 9.5/10 and Eurogamer offering their thoughts with an impressive 9/10. As we have come to expect in Forza titles, the stunning graphics play a key part in the overall presentation of the game and if you want some realism added in there too, there’s even official support from BBC’s award winning racing show Top Gear, featuring in-game commentary from Jeremy Clarkson during the Autovista mode of the game.

As for the video we have to show you, it comes courtesy of CVG and offers gamers the chance to see what the very first race will be in the game as soon as you start the single-player mode. Players will be asked to complete a few laps overlooking the Bernese Alps in a Ferrari 458 Italia car and if you needed any reassurances on the graphics quality of the game – this video surely offers that.

The big news from E3 this time is that Forza has doubled its multiplayer capabilities by allowing up to 16 player online multiplayer. Yes, this means that this year, you and 15 other racers will be able to race alongside one another on a single race track when the title to be released on October 11. This alongside the game’s Kinect support makes it a huge improvement when compared to the last Forza installment.

You can see a trailer from Strategyinformer which shows you the E3 presentation followed by the Forza game in action. If you are a fan of the series you will be pleased with the outcome. We also noticed that if you live in the U.K or are just a big fan of Top Gear UK, you will probably recognise the Top Gear track that looks like it may make an appearance in the game.

As a bonus to the release of this game, racers may want to know about the Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel that is on its way and could be arriving just in time for Forza 4. It will retail at around $60 and should fit hand-in-hand with the racing prodigy’s release. James Batchelor of MCV.com is reporting in an article that Forza Motorsport 4 will be hitting stores in the US on October 11th. The details of the game were revealed at today’s Microsoft E3 press conference, but for now dates for the rest of the world have not been announced.

It is highly likely the game will be released across the world in the same month as the US. The game will have cars from more than eighty different manufactures. It was also confirmed the game will support the Kinect with head tracking. It will also have some content from BBC’s Top Gear including the famous test track.

It was also revealed that there will be monthly expansions, but unfortunately exact details of these were not given but expect to hear more as the launch date gets nearer. Will you be getting Forza 4?

Since this video surfaced at the start of the day, there were some questions as to whether this was a well made April Fools Day prank, but that certainly got put to bed, when we realised that Microsoft has started to take down these videos from YouTube with a copyright notice.

Obviously, this video isn’t intended for public viewing yet, actually it wouldn’t surprise us if this was something they were planning to show at E3. Anyway, the video shows the breathtaking new graphics for Forza 4, graphics which are certainly going to make Sony and Polyphony Digital take notice. The video makes a point to remind that this is actual in-game footage of Forza 4 that you’re seeing, which makes it all the more stunning in our opinion.

Microsoft claims to have ‘unmatched graphics’ with Forza 4, and reveal that the game will feature image-based lighting and photo realistic models, with one confirmed Kinect feature allowing you to open vehicle doors using your hands – a tad on the gimmick side, but we like it nevertheless.

More than 80 car manufacturers will be featured in Forza 4, with Microsoft claming that this is the biggest number seen in the racing genre to date. Another massive reveal, is that Forza 4 will feature 16 player races, which is twice the amount seen in Forza 3, that’s pretty impressive when you think about it.

Goozer Nation decided that this needed a closer look, as they too believe that there were far too many games like Guitar Hero on the market – Rockband being one example. There are many others that all do basically the same thing, and that is the same problem with many other games in many other categories.

Racing games have been singled out for good reason; there are only a few decent franchises, Gran Turismo, Need For Speed and Forza. We are well aware that there are other titles on the market, but these are the ones that have stood the test of time. Other games such as Blur, Modnation Racers amongst others try to add more features to a game in the hope of keeping you hocked.

This is what we have the issue with the most, when you think of a racing game you want to be able to choose a car, tune it up and get those settings perfect in order to beat the competition in a race. What you do not want is to try and race someone while trying to shoot at them to damage their vehicle – this is not racing, it’s something in-between.

It is hard to say how long we will have to wait until a truly great racing sim again, GameZone believes that we will not see another on the Sony PS3, and will have to wait until the release of the PS4. We cannot see that some how, but you have to understand what they mean?

As reported be VG24/7, support from the Kinect was announced last year at E3 before the game was even named. Since the games announcement there has been no mention of the Kinect until now.

Forza Motorsport 4 which is due out on the Xbox 360 this fall will be able to use the Kinect body-sensing control system to function a more realistic driver perspective. As the user moves their head from side to side, it does so in the game allowing them to peer past cars or around corners. This is possible without the use of a headset thanks to its microphone integrated 3D camera.

An article at msn.com says the game could raise the when it comes to track simulation. Developers rented each track for two and 3 days at a time, tracking the inside, outside and middle of each with a GPS-system and shooting a lot of video and photo footage, according to Turn 10. This is to give the game more input for coding adding yet more realism to it.

Now Forza 4 has been officially announced for Fall 2011, there was a trailer released as one of the VGA clips, you can see the clip at the bottom of this article courtesy of VG247. No doubt we will do another comparison between the two titles of GT vs Forza.

Something that is really worth noting is the fact that Forza has forged a partnership with UK company Top Gear. Anyone that watches the program knows all to well, the 3 hosts just get up to no good. They will do things like drive white vans around their hand made course whilst the “Stig”chases them in a police style vehicle. You can view this a at the bottom of the article. This is the sort of mischief that these overgrown kids get into. We did manage to find a little more information on the partnership here, but i am sure we will learn more soon.
