Without a doubt the original Everex Cloudbook is a great laptop; however Everex have upped their game with the Cloudbook MAX. Don’t get me wrong I do not want to take anything away from the original, it is just this Max version will be in a different class.

The new laptop will feature an 8.9-inch WVGA screen and comes with an 80GB HDD and 2GBRAM. The processor used will be the 1.6GHz VIA C7-M ULV which works in harmony with the VX800 digital media IGP chipset.

Everex CloudBook with Bluetooth and touchscreen arrives in Japan

Everex CloudBook which is FIC manufactured has made its way to Japan which may be exciting to some but the most interesting part of this news is that the ultra-portable 7-inch Everex CloudBook has Bluetooth and touchscreen.
Other features include 802.11a to augment the existing b/g WiFi, the other specs basically remain the same for example 1.2GHz VIA C7-M proc and 30GB hard disk.
The question is, is the price right? A tax-inclusive price of ¥59,800 which is around $600 which is a lot more than the normal one without touchscreen for $399.
The release in Japan is supposedly March 22nd.
