That’s right, the popular news and technology site has released an app specifically for the iPad. For those of you who are unaware of what Engadget is or what Engadget are about then don’t worry you can find out here.

Engadget is a bit like Product-Reviews in some ways. It’s place where you go when you want to learn about news and technology, they offer different lengths of review and combine technological detail with common sense and a few giggles along the way.

According to an update on their website the app will also be coming to the other platforms, as well as a brand new app for the iPhone. There will be an update for the BlackBerry version with iOS 6 support and even a Windows Phone 7 app. You can now keep up with them on most smartphones.

The application has some key features, these are that you will be able to watch the Engadget Show by streaming, it has a nice easy to use interface, you can get access to Podcasts and interestingly there is the ability to grab some bookmarks to read whilst you are offline. As a fan of Engadget I would recommend this app to anyone, the other bonus, it’s free. You can read up about the rest of their features by going to appshopper here, or you can just go ahead and download it from the iTunes store here.

Have you downloaded their new app? What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments below.
