With not long to go until the Vietnam expansion pack for BFBC2 comes out, a Russian blog has exposed some of the new content we can expect to see when the game gets a release sometime this winter.

With no solid release date set, Vietnam has been in the thoughts of all Bad Company 2 players since its conception at E3 this year, and we got our first preview at the Tokyo Game Show back in September.

Ok, we realise this is potentially top secret information and love to give you sneak previews of games when we get it, but remember this is a spoiler so proceed at your own peril.

In the video, we see all the weapons you will be able to play with in BFBC2 Vietnam, as well as all the new Vietnam-themed vehicles that you can ride around in.

So with no further a do, check the video we have posted below that shows you a glimpse of the menu’s (proving that it is legit), weapons, item names and stats (albeit in Russian), tanks, helicopters and ships to name a few.

What do you think of the content in Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam? Excited?

E3 2010 finished over a week ago, therefore it is about time we heard an impartial opinion of what were the show’s best offerings, luckily GameInformer have done just this and have posted a fully detailed article on their website here.

GameInformer (GI) believe that Valve’s Portal 2 was the best of the show, they also feel that Infamous 2 was the best PS3 game to feature at the show. Gears of War 3 was GameInformer’s best Xbox 360 title at E3 2010 and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and was GI’s favorite Wii title at the expo.

GI’s favorite multi-platform title was Portal 2, this game will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC sometime in 2011, I’m sure Valve won’t disappoint.

There were a lot of handheld game’s at E3 2010, however GI believe that God of War: Ghost of Sparta looked the most promising, this game should arrive on the PSP in late 2010, at the moment no solid release date is known.

These days it seems as if PC games take a back seat at video game expos, that said the PC-exclusive Civilization V looked particularly promising, so much so that it was GI’s favorite PC game at E3 2010, this game should arrive on September 24th 2010.

We will now list of some of GameInformer’s other award winners from E3 2010, Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the best adventure game, Dead Space 2 was the best action game, Portal 2 was the best puzzle game. Best RPG went to Fable III. Best shooter went to Bulletstorm, best MMO went to Star Wars: The Old Republic, best racing game went to Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, best sports went to NHL 11.

The best lifestyle award went to Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, best fighter went to Mortal Kombat, best platformer went to LittleBigPlanet 2, best music title went to Rock Band 3, best strategy went to Civilization V, best downloadable title went to Journey, best multiplayer game was Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and finally the best tech at the show went to the Nintendo 3DS.

Do you agree with Game Informer’s awards? If not, let is know why in the comments section below.

Yesterday was a huge day for gaming news thanks to E3 2010 press conferences from both Sony and Nintendo, with so many games and advances mentioned it is hard to keep up with what is regarded as the most important and exciting news.

Luckily InfinityWard’s Robert Bowling aka fourtwozero summed up today’s main news on his blog, you can see what he thought was the pick of the bunch here.

He believes that the biggest and best revelations from day 2 were the return of Goldeneye and it’s Wii exclusivity, also he was excited by The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and it’s Sword motion control. He also speeds about the Nintendo 3DS and the New Kid Icarus game.

Dowling believes that Sony’s biggest announcements included the new 3D version of Mortal Kombat, along with revealing further details regardingKillzone 3 and Portal 2.

Other good news from Sony included New Twisted Metal on PS3, the new Playstation Plus service and pricing and finally, release details for Playstation Move. Out of all of the announcements made by Sony and Nintendo during E3 2010 day 2, which are your favorites?

I’m not sure about you, but I felt a little bit disappointed with what Sony brought to the table at their E3 keynote conference in Los Angeles. We didn’t see any new hardware in action, or confirmations on a few rumors we which tipped would definitely happen. Why?

Firstly, what happened to those two new PS3 models that were revealed a few days prior to the event? It seemed certain to happen after reading Engadget’s scoop – were the FCC incorrect then?

Then there was the matter of the PSP2. While Microsoft added the slimmer Xbox 360 console to their hardware lineup, Sony failed to produce any new hardware which made us jump out of our seat. What happened to Kaz Hirai taking the PSP2 out of his back pocket?

Of course, a release date for GT5 was great, and Twisted Metal looked pretty awesome, but I still felt a sense of anticlimax once Mr. Tretton wrapped things up at the end. At least we got a solid release date for Playstation Move, as well as pricing details -which Microsoft failed to provide. It will also be out in September, compared to November for Kinect.

Do you feel the same way, or have I got this totally wrong? I’m a Sony fan dont get me wrong, I just expected more of the ‘wow’ factor, that’s all.

Give us your thoughts on this.

We’re sure many of you are well aware that there is only a few hours to go until Sony kick off their E3 keynote conference in Los Angeles. After Microsoft’s pretty impressive event, the ball now switches to Sony. What are they planning to announce?

We have found a useful article for you to check out, which provides some big predictions that will happen during the event. It comes to us courtesy of GamingEverything and is definitely a good read if you are a PS3 owner.

Therir first big prediction is the announcement of Grand Theft Auto 5 being an exclusive on the PS3. While this would be great for PS3 owners, I don’t see it happening with the way Microsoft and Rockstar partnered on GTA IV for DLC.

Next up is Final Fantasy Versus XIII & Final Fantasy XIV. Details on both games are pretty non-existant at the moment – especially Versus XIII. We’ve had a few teasers of the MMO game, but Sony’s keynote is likely to provide solid details on both. GamingEverything think that both titles will remain PS3 exclusives, but again – I dont think it will happen.

Other predictions include the announcements of Kingdom Hearts 3, Resistance 3 and more PS2/3D titles. I agree with them on these points, these are probably likely to happen – but they are not really anything exciting are they?

My Prediction

This may or may not happen, but I’m going to put it through your mind anyway. I’m going for the Final Fantasy VII remake. This infamous little gem has been debated for years it seems now, and despite Square-Enix admitting doubts over the potential development time for the title – both they and Sony know that the majority of PS3 owners want this so bad. At the moment, I can’t think of any rumors for Sony’s keynote that make me go ‘WOW’ – but a Final Fantasy VII remake definitely would.

Then again, Square might be saving that kind of reveal for the Tokyo Game Show in September, but we can all hope. Let us know your thoughts on the predictions mentioned above, and the likelihood of a FF7 remake happening.

Only a few hours to go now guys – are you ready?

After Treyarch unveiled not one, but two brand new gameplay trailers for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops title at E3, we can’t help but worry about the lack of announcement of a zombie mode for the game.

If you watched the event, you would of seen studio head Mark Lamia open Microsoft’s E3 keynote event with some unseen and pretty breathtaking footage of the game, which is scheduled to release this November.

Those of you watching the live stream on GameTrailers were also treated to another new trailer for the game, which featured a track off Eminem’s new Recovery album called Won’t Back Down.

However, Treyarch did not mention a single thing about zombie mode. They recently stated a few days prior to E3 that gamers will definitely have a really fun and enjoyable co-op experience, so I’m wondering what happened to the announcement of zombie mode for the game?

E3 doesn’t end until the 17th, so maybe Treyarch and Activision are saving the announcement until another day – we hope. Let us know your thoughts on this.

Am I the only one who was hoping for info on zombie mode?

With less than an hour to go before Microsoft’s big keynote speech at E3 in Los Angeles, we thought we’d give you one last reminder that you can follow the event via live blogs or a live video stream.

The event is due to start at 10am PT, but the conference itself will probably kick-off at 10.30am. After Microsoft’s Kinect event last night, gamers are eager to find out a release date and pricing for the device.

Furthermore, early leaks this morning revealed that a new Xbox 360 Slimline console is almost certain to appear, and that it will probably be bundled with Kinect.

You’ll be able to find live blogs pretty much everywhere, but the live video streams you can find over at the official Xbox website, or you can also find an alternative stream at GameTrailers here.

Firstly, if you need a reminder of start times for the main keynote conferences from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, you can take a look at our previous report here.

Once you have done that, you should then proceed to the E3 website to get started. You can choose from four available options – these are ‘Search Exhibitors, Search Products, My Show Planner and E3 Expo Floorplan’. These four categories will provide you with all the information you require, especially if you are planning to attend multiple keynotes.

If you are searching for a map layout of the Expo, you’ll find it at the floorplan menu. If you are looking to attend a specific keynote – for example Capcom, then simply use the exhibitor search menu. You can even create an account at the website and save your personal info and other planning notes on one handy page.

Check it out for yourself and let us know your thoughts on it. E3 is set to be a cracker this year!

If you want to stay up-to-date with all of the latest E3 2010 news there are many ways to do so, however in my opinion Twitter is the best place as you can get all of the latest news direct from the publishers and developers.

Twitter accounts to watch out for include the official E3 Expo twitter account along with AtlusUSA, Naughty_Dog, Turn10Studios, Treyarch, bungietweets, IGN, MajorNelson and the Microsoft Xbox twitter account.

It is not only certain Twitter accounts that you should keep an eye on, different tags and keywords should keep you informed with all of the latest E3 news, tags worth checking out include “E3 2010” and “#E3“. Also as Microsoft have now officially given Project Natal a new name, keep an eye on “#kintect“.

During the entire E3 2010 expo there will be quite a few ProductReviews writers covering all of the latest E3 2010 news, therefore keep an eye on the following Twitter accounts; Jam1ePert, A1anNg, PeterChubb and gazzajoh.

We have heard some pretty major news for Xbox 360 owners over the last hour or two, but now we have some juicy details for PS3 owners now. It has been rumored that a new 500GB PS3 SKU is on the way.

According to CVG, the new SKU is one of two new PS3 models which will be announced at Sony’s keynote conference on Tuesday – get times and details here.

The other SKU is a new 250GB model and CVG state that both versions will come bundled with Playstation Move – the company’s new motion-supported controllers. Furthermore, we are also hearing that both models will have improved WiFi cards. They will support 802.11n, which will be much faster than the 802.11 b/g that is currrently present within PS3 models.

It looks like a done deal to us. We knew that two new models were coming, and this looks like pretty solid details on both. Let us know your thoughts on this.

Happy with a 500GB HDD and faster WiFi?
