As reported from Droid-Life, the new Flash Player update is only available to those of you running Android 2.2 Froyo on both handsets. You will be able to identify the new version by it’s number as 10.1.92.10.

You won’t get an OTA update for the new version, instead you’ll have to find it in the Android Market yourself – but it should be there. No changelog has been provided with the new version, but as Droid-Life points out, it is probably just some fixes to stability.

If you have installed the new version, let us know if you notice anything different.

As reported from Droid-Life, the official zip file from Google has been located online, and it is now available to download as you please. It is worth noting that this update is only available on the stock Droid Incredible, so for those of you who have rooted, you’ll just have to wait around for another alternative.

If you are bored of waiting for the OTA notification from Verizon, you can try the manual download here. Head over to Droid-Life for a full set of instuctions on how to install Froyo on your Incredible.

According to Droid-Life, some new Verizon internal documents they have obtained has revealed that Verizon are aiming to update all Droid Incredible handsets to Android 2.2 Froyo by Friday September 3rd.

As far as we’re aware, some of you have already received the notification to update from Verizon, but the majority are still patiently waiting for it, or getting increasingly frustrated we might add.

Will Verizon manage to pull if off by Friday though? They certainly have their work cut out if they are going to make all Droid Incredible owners happy by the time the weekend lands.

That is according to this fresh report from Droid-Life, who have managed to get their hands on Verizon’s updated User Guide for the handset – which is now available to download from their website online.

The new user guide doesn’t specifically mention Android 2.2 Froyo, but as you can see from the included screenshot taken from the user manual, it shows the Google search bar, which is only available on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Furthermore, one user has contacted Droid-Life to confirm that their new Droid Incredible handset came with Froyo straight from the box. It is definitely looking promising folks.

All of the handset’s specifications have now been confirmed, it runs Android 2.1 and has the latest version of HTC’s Sense UI.

The hardware the handset features is pretty much what we expected, it has a 3.7 inch capacitive touchscreen AMOLED display, an optical joystick, 8GB of storage and an 8 megapixel camera, to ensure everything runs smoothly the handset also features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
