2011 has been a busy year for Samsung, not only in terms of products that were launched, but also the continued legal issues with Apple. However, Sammy are not ones to let such a thing get in their way, which is why they might announce the Nexus Prime during CTIA 2011. To learn if this is true or not, then you will need to visit here to get coverage of the live keynote stream from the event.

It was earlier this month when Samsung unveiled a range of new handsets, but we had learned that one lucky attendee was able to catch a glimpse of the Prime, although this has yet to be verified as official. The South Korean company has already announced that they are to launch something new during CTIA, as far as we know, the only phone that they have coming to market anytime soon is the Nexus Prime, which some people have even started to call it Droid Prime.

Not only are we trying to learn the release date of the new handset, we also need to know just what Samsung will call it; we believe it will be the Prime – although we do have a knack of getting it wrong at times? We have until October 12, 2011 to learn if the keynote will give Android fans what they want – yet another new handset?

Another reason why we believe that there is truth to this latest rumor is due to the fact that the Nexus Prime could win the Hot for the Holidays Awards during CTIA in the next few weeks. Android Authority reports that we could even see the Galaxy S III, but that seems to be nonsense, as the handset has only just made it to the US. Although this could still happen, as Verizon could be the only carrier to get the Prime?
