Although it’s not the best LG have to offer it still has some pretty impressive features.

The smartphone has a 3.2” HVGA resolution touchscreen display, with onscreen keyboard. It also has a 600 MHz processor behind the scenes and will be running Android 2.2 OS. It will support Crickets 3G network also.

Other features include a microSD card for additional storage, an integrated music player and a 3.2mp camera that can be used for recording as well as shooting still pictures.

The LG Optimus C is currently selling for $199 contract free after rebates and is designed to work on the $55 a month all-inclusive Android data, text and talk plan.

The latest hack saw Apple’s GM version of its iOS 4.3 cracked open. Now we bring you news that with the Verizon iPhone 4 hack users can unlock their device and switch carrier.

This comes from a YouTube video, which can be viewed below, that shows a hacker bust open their Verizon iPhone and switch over to the Cricket carrier. Why you ask? Just because they can I guess. The user then dials the CDMA programming number to prove that the cricket display isn’t just for show.

Now that the device has got this far in the process without being bricked then it is capable of being carried by whichever network the user chooses. Also if you’re wondering whether you’d be able to experience all the features such as MMS and 3G speeds then I wouldn’t worry too much as once jailbroken a number of apps become available to solve these kinds of problems.

The price of the plan is $55 per month; it will allow unlimited music downloads as well as the normal services of data, calls and messaging but without limitations.

The music content will be provided by Sony, EMI, Universal and Warner. Of course you will need to keep on paying your bill otherwise the Muve Music service will not be accessible, it will be completely locked down. We are also hearing that the service will be launched on a new phone from Samsung.

It’s called the Samsung Suede SCH-r710, the device will be $199, the Suede will have a 3” touch screen, 3G capabilities and the only other detail we have, is it will feature a dedicated music button. If you were thinking about downloading the music and then passing it on, I’m afraid that won’t be happening. The storage featured on the phone is a 4GB DRM-encrypted SanDisk memory card.
