Only this time, the trailer shows off some of the Nintendo Wii game’s multiplayer action.

According to Oliver over at el33tonline.com, the Conduit 2 title – which is due for release on April 19th in North America and April 22nd in the UK and Europe – features three main gameplay modes: Team Objective, Free for All and my all time favorite, Team Deathmatch.

However, these three game types then offer players special variants, which mean that gamers have a total of 14 different multiplayer modes to choose from. One of the said modes is ASE Ball, in which the player that holds the ASE for the longest is declared the winner.

Another mode is Bounty Hunter, in which players can kill their assigned target for points, or kill those that are hunting them just for fun. However, if they kill someone that doesn’t fill those specific roles, it will unfortunately cost them points.

Other multiplayer modes include Free for All CTF, in which players have to get to the flag and carry it back to a random location, classic Team Deathmatch and Shared Stock, where team mates share a pool of lives while attempting to reach the highest kill count.

However, things have changed again, and now the Nintendo Wii exclusive won’t be here until April 22nd.

According to a recent article over at vg247.com by Johnny Cullen, Sega revealed that the reason behind the delay was the fact that the developer still has some polishing to do. There is a bit of good news for Wii gamers however, as a few new screenshots for Conduit 2 were released recently.

The Screenshots weren’t the only thing that was revealed recently either, as High Voltage Software has also unveiled more information on the upcoming sequel. According to Mark Fajardo over at justpushstart.com, Conduit 2 will feature multiplayer modes such as Free-for-All and Team Deathmatch.

These gameplay modes offer gamers 14 different ways to play the game, including the classic Deathmatch, ASE Ball (where the person holding the ASE for the longest time wins), VIP (where players have to fight to kill a randomly chosen VIP from the opposing team) and Team Deathmatch.

The first-person shooter has now been given a European release date of March 18th and US launch date of March 22nd.

According to Stephany Nunneley over at vg247.com, Sega has also released a brand new weapons trailer and screens for the Conduit 2 title. Those of you who played the original game will remember that in the very last minutes of the game, Secret Agent Michael Ford was faced with a choice.

The choice he was faced with was to either die, or follow John Adams through the conduit portal. The story in Conduit 2 is set immediately after the events of The Conduit. You can view the new screenshots via the link here, and watch the new weapons trailer below this post.

This doesn’t appear to be the only Conduit 2 trailer to have surfaced this month either. As Jorge B previously reported over at cubed3.com, a new trailer has emerged that not only shows some of the great environments in Conduit 2, but also gives us a couple of seconds of split-screen multiplayer.
