In terms of specs you get a Windows 7 Home Starter 32-bit, a 10.1 Anti-glare LED Display (1024 x 600), an Intel Atom N455 (1.66 GHz) processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, a 250 GB HDD, WiFi b/g/n, VGA-out, a built-in webcam, a built-in microphone and a memory card slot. Verizon say that users should expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps from the internal 4G LTE modem, however this will depend heavily on coverage in your area. This model will be available from tomorrow, it will cost $449.99 when purchased as part of a new two-year customer agreement. Monthly costs depend heavily on how much data you will be using, for $30 a month you get 2GB, for $50 a month you get 5 GB and for $80 a month you get 10 GB. As previously mentioned this is Verizon’s first-ever netbook offering to feature built-in 4G LTE connectivity, however if your not a fan of the small form-factor which this netbook offer you should check out the HP Pavilion dm1-3010nr notebook here, it costs $599.99 as part of a two-year deal and boasts plenty of improved specs over the the Compaq Mini CQ10-688nr. Remember that this is a notebook not a netbook, therefore it not as portable as the new Compaq.
