CEATEC is well underway with a number of devices already making their debut, but one handset that we have yet to mention is the concept dual-screen phone from Fujtisu. This is certainly a strange looking phone, as it reminds be of a Nintendo DS – but that’s not a bad thing.

The Fujitsu phone had been teased some time back, and there were those who thought that it would never happen. Well it is on show, proving that those who doubted were wrong. Not certain how well it will be received if it was to make it to market, as there will be an issue with the weight.

Chris Ziegler from Engadget was on hand to offer his opinion, and he was very impressed with how the dual-screen handled sorting images. You can have you photo library on one screen, then those that you wish to share with your contacts can be flicked across to the other screen – now that’s impressive.

You can see in the video below that the screens can be turned portrait and landscape, which would make it the largest clamshell handset on the market. Take a look at the video and we will let you come to your own conclusions.

Over the years Panasonic has launched a number of handsets to the market, but none have really left an impact. This could be about to change with the unveiling of the new Panasonic Lumix Phone, which as you can see is a slider.

You can tell by the name Lumix that the phones main focus is going to be its camera, and the 13.2 megapixel feature is certainly a dead giveaway. The handset did not have a huge showing at CEATEC 2010, but NTT DoCoMo did have it protected against dirty hands behind some plexiglass.

Ross Miller from Engadget was at the event in Japan and has supplied a video of the handset, all four colors of them, which you can see in the video below.

We cannot wait until someone gets some hands-on time with the new device – we need to see how great the shots will be with that built-in 13.2 megapixel Lumix. Do you think that Panasonic will give us a feature packed phone, or are they relying on just one feature – the camera?
