Roofless Bugatti Veyron finally announced

It has been a long time in waiting, but fresh details have emerged on the newest version of the world’s fastest supercar with its main feature being the removable roof.
The new design has been in production for many years but will finally be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on 16th August.
With a staggering 1001 BHP, the Veyron promises to delight those who manage to get their hands on one. There are a few new additions with this design with Bugatti stating that the car will use “innovative structural solutions” to compensate for the loss of stiffness which may occur when the roof is removed. Other notable features of the car include flashy LED lights at the front to make it look even more stylish.
The world’s fastest supercar obviously comes at a steep price however with customers all over the world wanting to get their hands one of the first models; Bugatti has said that there will be an auction at the Pebble Beach event allowing investors to scrap it out for the first model. As for the other sales of the car, expect to pay above £840,000 if you want to own the coolest car around at the moment.

Porsche based GT9: details and pricing

I was one of those who thought that the Bugatti Veyron would always be the ultimate supercar, but I was mistaken as the Porsche-based GT9 will have enough power to make the Veyron seem slow.
Not only does the GT9 have the power but it also has the looks, this is thanks to the work by German tuner 9ff.
The tuner has been developing the GT9 for many years, but this is the first time that we have been able to give you details and pricing of the supercar.
The front of the car looks much like a 911 GT3, but the chassis used is very different as it has been constructed from carbon and kevlar fibre, this is lightweight but very strong.
The GT9 sits low at just 1.18 metres tall; the bodykit makes the car look low to the ground. Both of these features help the car achieve a top speed of 254mph, that’s just 1mph more than the Bugatti Veyron.
The engine used is a from the 996-generation Porsche 911 Turbo however; this powerplant has seen an upgrade. The turbos have been reworked; there is a gold-finished induction plate as well as dry sump lubrication.
All of this helps the engine push out 973bhp and a 0-60mph time of 3.4 seconds.
There will only be 20 of these GT9’s made, with a price tag of £394,000.

Carbonyte is a British bespoke vehicle manufacturer who you might remember from last year did their version of a stretched Ferrari 360 Modena F1 ‘limousine. This car could still manage to do 170mph from its 400bhp engine.
Well now Carbonyte are back and they have a list of cars that want to stretch, and these are some of the best supercars in the world. How would you like to see a stretched Bugatti Veyron, Smart Car, Lamborghini Murcielago, McLaren SLR Supercar, or even a Koeniggsegg CCR. Belive it or not, when Carbonyte strech these vehicles they do not lose much of their top speed.

Bentley not to use W16 and diesel engines

When you think of huge old school engines Bentley springs to mind, and at one stage we thought the rumors were true that they were to produce W16 as well as diesel engines. Well I have some bad news for you, it seems as if Bentley have ruled out producing these new engines.
It seems a shame that the only car to use the W16 engine is the Bugatti Veyron, the world’s fastest production car. It also seems strange that Bentley do not want to try and reduce emissions in their vehicles by using clean diesel engines.
For future Bentley customers you will have to make do with the smaller 6.75-liter V8s and 6-liter W12s power units instead.

We all know how flash and confident music mogul Simon Cowell is, well expect him to have a bigger head now as he has treated himself to a new car. It is not just any car, it is the ultimate car as it is the Bugatti Veyron, and this $1million supercar is the world’s fastest production car.
The Bugatti Veyron is built by Volkswagen and can push out 1000 horsepower, and will reach a top speed of 408.47 km/h, that’s 253.81 mph. However I am sure he will driving as slow as possible around LA just so that the public can see him driving around in this awesome supercar.
