Britney Spears Donates $25,000 To American Idol Gives Back

It has been reported that Britney Spears was so moved by American Idol’s Idol Gives Back telethon on Wednesday night that she decided to donated $25,000 to the cause.

All the moving films and appeals that were made by Annie Lennox, Alicia Keys and Brad Pitt, among others, compelled her to dig deep for children’s charities, aid groups and poverty relief.

A source said that “She watched the show and cried for, like, two hours over the children in Africa with malaria. She didn’t know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realise kids were dying from mosquito bites. So she went online and donated after getting (her father) Jamie’s permission“.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline to get back together

It has been reported that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have been secretly meeting in the hope getting back together. It’s said that they are planning a quiet getaway after they spent Easter together.

A source said that “They saw each other on Easter. That meeting went so well that Britney and Kevin have agreed to take a trip away from the glare of Hollywood to work on their relationship. Kevin wants to take Britney away to see if there is anything to salvage between them. When he suggested it to her, she told him she was ready to go anytime he was.”

Kevin has also revealed that he would always love Britney and hoped she would get back on track soon.

Britney Spears has been offered Receptionist Job By Peta

Britney Spears has been offered a job working as a receptionist for animal rights group Peta.

It’s said that Peta president Ingrid E. Newkirk has made Britney a written job offer. The reason that they are targeting Britney is because she has previously worn fur and bought animals from pet stores.

The Peta President said that “After seeing your excellent performance on How I Met Your Mother, Peta would like to offer you a real job as a receptionist. It could be for as little as an hour, and you would see - from the inside - why we are so concerned about issues like fur and homeless dogs and cats. As a ‘thank you’ for your willingness to learn and help, we would donate $1,000 to a children’s charity”

Britney Spears offered the lead in a West End production

It has been reported that Britney Spears has been offered the lead in a West End production.

It’s said that Britney is considering playing ageing Southern Belle Blanche DuBois in Tennessee Williams play A Streetcar Named Desire.

A source said that “Britney’s been on the list for this for some time but until recently was considered too risky. Her appearance on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ changed all that. She had poise, timing and a real flair. She may be a bit too young for the role but she is perfect to embody the tragic spirit of Blanche, who uses alcohol to mask her pain.”

Britney is set to appear at this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on March 29.

Looks like that things are starting to look up for Britney

Britney Spears to appear in South Park

It has been announced that Britney Spears is to appear as a character in animated comedy South Park.

A spokesman said: “Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park when the boys have a run-in with her. Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney’s celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes.”

A despairing Britney Spears blasts her head off with a shotgun before being photographed to death in the latest episode of South Park.

Court Orders Britney Spears to Pay Kevin Federline’s Legal Fees

According to reports a court has ordered Britney Spears to pay ex-husband Kevin Federline $375,000 to cover legal fees in their child custody case.

Apparently The Los Angeles court commissioner ruled that the actions of Britney was the cause of a number of delays in the case, and as such she should carry the cost

Kevin and Britney where married for three years and divorced July 2007. Kevin was award primary custody of their two children in October 2007

Yesterday it was also reported that another judge has extended a temporary restraining order against Britney’s former manager, Sam Lufti for one month.

Security Wristbands Have Been Enforced On Britney Spears TV Set

It has been reported that the cast and crew of How I Met Your Mother have been forced to wear wristbands on the U.S. sitcom’s set while Britney Spears is filming her cameo role to prevent passers-by from taken picture’s of Britney at the studio.

Neil Patrick Harris said that “It’s been great. We’re required to wear wristbands all day. It keeps meddling blogger friends from just strolling on to set to snap camera-phone pics. They have different wristbands every day, and it’s like the ultimate after-party. I wasn’t given a wristband, because I’m on the show, but then they swapped out security people and they wouldn’t let me on the stage because I didn’t have the proper wristband. We had words. I did eventually make it on set, because I just kept going through. But there were lots of ‘Hey, hey - I need to see your wristband,’ and I said, ‘Lady, I’m actually on the show, so I don’t have a wristband.’ That’s the kind of excitement there is on Stage 22 right now, mid-Britney“.

The show is said to be aired on 24 March on U.S. cable channel Cbs.

Britney Spears has been given $1,500 per-week debit card allowance

It has been reported that Britney Spears has been given a $1,500 per-week debit card allowance by a Los Angeles judge at an estate conservatorship hearing on Monday.

As her court-appointed conservator, Britney’s father Jamie fought for the allowance, explaining the cash would give the singer more freedom.

Meanwhile, at a separate hearing concerning Britney’s ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, her lawyer Stacy Phillips objected to her client paying Kevin’s $500,000 legal bill.

Stacy told the hearing that Britney has already spent over $1 million for custody of her two sons and shouldn’t have to pay her former spouse’s legal expenses too.

It has been reported that Jamie Spears has begged Justin Timberlake to tour with Britney Spears.

It’s said that Britney’s father Jamie reportedly contacted Justin in a desperate attempt to “jumpstart” her career but Justin refused to perform with her.

A source said that “Jamie wanted Justin to help Britney. For a time Justin seriously considered doing a couple of concerts with Britney later this year to jumpstart her career. Jamie knows Justin has so much goodwill in the music industry and his support would do her good. But Justin told Jamie that while he still cares deeply for Britney and wishes her all the best, it isn’t going to happen.”

Justin has said that he had no plans to take to the stage in 2008. But he left out the most important reason that he is getting ready to propose to Jessica, who has a jealous streak.

it has been reported that a Mystery Track Featuring Britney Spears and Heidi Montag has surfaced on the inernet called Dramatic.

It said that Ryan Seacrest debuted the new duet on his breakfast radio show on Monday admitting he had no idea where the track, Dramatic, came from.

Ryan said that “I just opened an email and there was this track and it said, ‘Britney Spears and Heidi Montag’.”

Ryan placed the entire track on his Kiis-FM website for fans to listen to. And it’s said that Heidi Montag’s publicist insists her client knows nothing about the duet.

According to femalefirst She said that “Heidi has no knowledge of this recording. She did do a demo of this song for possible use on her record, but that recording had a male vocal on it, not Britney Spears.”
