Now that RIM has started to roll out its new BlackBerry smartphones we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us, so far the only device to run BlackBerry 7 without a physical QWERTY keyboard is the Torch 9850 / 9860, however some leaked photos recently showed up on CrackBerry which appear to show another touch-centric handset.

If CrackBerry’s article turns out to be accurate the smartphone which can be seen below is the BlackBerry Curve 9380 – as you would expect details are scarce, however it is clear to see that there is no physical QWERTY keyboard, there has never been a BlackBerry Curve like this before!

Those of you who have ever bought a BlackBerry Curve before will know that they are by no means RIM’s top-end offerings, when compared to the Bold models it is fair to say that they feel quite cheap and plasticky, but if you ignore that the user experience is not too bad. Could this mean that the Curve 9380 will be a mid-end smartphones which caters towards those of you who do not want to pay for a top-end device like the aforementioned Torch 9850 / 9860? We think so.

There isn’t much insight which we can gain from the leaked images, but it reminds us a little of the HTC Wildfire in terms of form-factor, also if you look at the back cover it is made out of a shiny plastic material which too us makes it look cheap – nothing compared to the premium-looking back cover which the new Torch 9810 features (see below).

It will be interesting to see how RIM has managed to fit a virtual QWERTY keyboard on such a small-looking display, get it right and RIM could be onto a winner, get it wrong it could fail miserably. What do you think of the Curve 9830? Do you like the idea of a small BlackBerry smartphone which is touch centric?

We have some good news for BlackBerry owners now, as it looks like a new beefed up version of the Curve is on the way this year. The handset has just been leaked, and it reveals that the Curve is getting an all-touch makeover.

As reported from Engadget, the leak has come courtesy of CrackBerry, who have provided a lovely image of the proposed handset for your viewing pleasure.

Unlike the current Curve model, this one features no keyboard – which may be an advantage or disadvantage depending on which way you want the next Curve to look like. One thing is for sure though, this new Touch version certainly adds a few notches of style to RIM’s portfolio, although the specs may not do too much for you in the excitement department.

According to CrackBerry, the Curve Touch will come equipped with a 3.25-inch HVGA screen, an 800MHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, a 5 megapixel camera, hd video recording (720p?), 512MB of RAM, NFC support, GPS, 1GB of internal memory and MicroSD card support.

The model which you see below is the CDMA model, but we have a feeling that a GSM version will follow suit as well. The bad news, is that you’re going to have to wait a long time for this model to release – i.e before the end of the year or even the start of 2012 if CrackBerry’s sources are to be believed.

We’ll bring you more details on the phone as we get it. Let us know your thoughts on the new BlackBerry Curve Touch. Do you like the new keyboard-less design or not? The handset is also codenamed ‘Malibu’ in case you’re on the lookout for further leaks. Would you prefer this phone to the BlackBerry Storm 3?

We have some good news for those of you still interested in picking up the latest Blackberry device, as it looks as if a solid release date on T-Mobile may have been set in stone already.

As reported from DeviceMag, the upcoming BlackBerry 9300 Curve 3G will be releasing exclusively on T-Mobile, and rumor has it that the magical date will be Tuesday September 7th.

If this date is true, you would of thought that T-Mobile would be trying their hardest to convince consumers that the Curve 3G 9300 offers more than the likes of the current crop of Android handsets that seem to be dominating the market at the moment.

Just to refresh your memory, the Curve 9300 3G will feature a 2MP camera, GPS, QWERTY keyboard, visual voice mail and Bluetooth 2.1. The device will ship with BlackBerry OS 5.0, but an update to BlackBerry OS 6.0 will be available at a later date – which is something.

Let us know if you have anything to share on the Curve 9300 3G – Do you think it’s coming on the 7th?
