Released by Smart Apps Solutions Inc. the app gets sent a constant feed of sale information and locations. The deals are sorted by category, gender, and much more. A powerful search tool is built in, and offers can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, and email.

Users can search for a product they want using key words, and if they are not already in published deals add them to their wish list. When the item shows up in any deals, it will appear under your wish list with the location and price. All information is organized by store so users can best plan their shopping trips and save time.

Lists can be shared so can help with purchasing gifts that people really want, and is like having your own personal shopper.

The warning comes after toy giants Fisher Price issued a huge recall recently, which resulted in 10 million of their toy products being recalled over safety hazards. If you read the story at the time, you’ll know that the recall affected popular toys such as Tough Trikes toddler tricycles and Fisher Price high chair products.

According to the CPSC ( Consumer Product Safety Commission), Rollerblade USA rollerblades have also been recalled recently, so if you see any of these products on sale over Black Friday, you are probably best to avoid them.

Firstly, if you haven’t seen Kmart’s Thanksgiving day Ad, you can view it in our previous report here. On the first page of their scan, you’ll see that they will be selling the Panasonic Viera TC-P46C2 Plasma TV.

It is 46-inches in size and key features include a refresh rate of 600Hz, a dynamic contrast ratio of 2000000:1, HDCP support, digital TV tuner and 2 HDMI ports. However, there doesn’t appear to be any support for VGA cable for those of you wondering.

Still though, the main point here is the price. It usually retails for $699.99, but Kmart will be slapping an instant $200 saving on it, meaning that you can buy it on Thanksgiving day for just $499.999. Stocks will be limited though, so prepare yourselves if you want one.

As you can see from the chart above via Engadget, one thing that immediately stikes us is that AT&T are charging $50 more off-contract than any other US carrier out there, which is quite a bold statement to make.

Saying that, they do not have any sort of activation fee, they have a $50 Media Hub voucher and their smallest data plan starts at $15 for 250MB pcm.

US Cellular seems to have the lower two-year-cost with only $760 on contract, but just look at their price for 200MB. It’s $15, comparing that with Verizon who offer 1GB for $20 which makes it quite ridiculous. You can also expand this and say you get 2GB on Sprint for $15 more than US Cellular. T-Mobile on the other hand does not really make much sense, when they offer 200MB for £25, or $40 for 25x the data allotment, or 5GB for you un-mathematicians out there.

As you can see, there is a lot to take in to consideration, and there is no clear cut winner when it comes to price. But this is what Engadget had to say as their conculsion: -

“We’d definitely contend Big Magenta’s got the most alluring on-contract value if 5GB is in the range of your data usage; the equivalent plan costs $60 on Sprint and $50 on Verizon, with the latter offering no discount for making a two-year commitment.”

They go on to say that if you plan to be unrestrained in your spending, and have no budget to think about when dipping into your wallet, Verizon have the most competitive data plans overall.

At the end of the day, I suppose it is down to who you prefer to do business with when it comes to carriers, plus the fact of network performance in your area.

One laptop which is guaranteed to be very popular during this month is the HP G72-227WM laptop, which will go on sale at Walmart during Black Friday, priced at $398 – a pretty good price for the specs on offer.

We’ve taken a look at the official spec sheet for this device, and we can tell you that it will be equipped with a 17.3-inch display, an Dual Core Intel Pentium Processor (T4500), 3GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, 1 HDMI port and a 5-in-1 card reader.

The only slightly disappointing thing that sticks out about this laptop, is that it will only be shipped with Intel graphics, so if you are looking to play the latest games on this laptop, you might want to consider a higher-spec one.

We are now seeing the holiday shopping season beginning in earnest, with some amazing deals surfacing so far. Microsoft has released the Kinect at a good time of year as it will surely be on a lot of gamers’ wish lists.

Currently the Kinect is available for $149 and comes with Kinect Adventures bundled with it. So far we have not seen any Black Friday deals for the Kinect but that could change at any time. A lot of Xbox 360 owners may be waiting for such deals to surface before taking the plunge with the motion controller.

As we briefly mentioned a few days ago, Target’s biggest deal on Black Friday is undoubtedly the 40-inch Westinghouse 1080p LCD HDTV which the retailer will be selling for only $298 – meaning that the product has a huge $250 instant discount from the original price of $549.99.

Considering that this is the best deal and the most desired, how do you plan to get one? Well, the first thing you’ll need to do is get an early night’s sleep on Thursday November 25th, as if you don’t get to Target before 4am opening time on Black Friday, the chances of you picking one up are very slim.

Target has already warned in their Ad listing that quantities of this TV are ‘limited’ and you’ll only be able to buy one TV per customer – sorry to burst your bubble if you were planning to get several.

You can bet that some shoppers are preparing to go to Target stores well in advance of the 4am opening time, so you might also want to bear that in mind if you plan to beat the queues.
