UK will not see Grand Theft Auto IV: Banned by BBFC

The game Grand Theft Auto IV has been banned in the UK by the Certification body the BBFC, the gaming industry has just turned into a crisis and by banning this game in the UK will cause uproar with gamers.
The BBFC have thrown this game out by refusing to grant GTA IV a UK certificate, the game which is a violent crime series usually gets an 18 certificate rating but not this time.
They say that the high-resolution graphics and amazing stereo sound means the game seems more violent due to being realistic and cannot pass this for sale in the UK without substantial and deep changes made to its content.

UK Ban Lifted On Manhunt 2

After there has been a ferocious 9 month battle between games developer Rockstar Games and UK sensors, it was confirmed yesterday that Manhunt 2 WILL be sold in the UK.
The game will be certificate 18, the final decision to release the game was made by the Video Appeals Committee. “We are pleased that the VAC has reaffirmed its decision recognizing that Manhunt 2 is well within the bounds established by other 18+ rated entertainment”, said developers at Rockstar Games.
As yet, there has been no date given when the game will be on sale.
