Oregon Man Pregnant: Mr. Beatie is expecting a baby girl

An Oregon man is pregnant according to The Advocate; they have said “we have verified the pregnancy with Mr. Beatie’s gynecologist”. The man (Mr. Beatie) is expecting a baby girl around July 3, 2008 and the catch is he used to be a woman but now is a transgender male. Legally Mr. Beatie has changed sex to a male, so that does mean this Oregon man is pregnant…how weird is that?

He married Nancy Beatie legally but because she cannot carry a baby, they decided Mr. Beatie would have the baby because when he changed sex the vagina was kept (the breasts were surgically removed).

He is a Transgender pregnant male, but what do you make of this and do you think keeping a vagina still classes you as a man?

Halle Berry has named her newborn daughter

Halle Berry who gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry in Los Angeles on Sunday morning has revealed that they have called their daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry.

Halle said that “We didn’t have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital. For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her.”

Nahla translates as honeybee in Arabic, while the Hebrew name Ariela means lioness of God.

A source close to Halle said that “Halle has always been a huge fan of the Disney films. She wanted to make a reference to her favourite two films with the name, but added her own take on them too.”

Halle Berry has given birth to a baby girl

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry welcomed their baby daughter to the world yesterday weighing 7lb 4oz

Halle is believed to have given birth at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

It is not yet known what they have decided to call their first child.

It’s said that on Saturday Halle suffered a health scare and was taken to hospital after her blood pressure soared.

A source said that “Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because she felt she was going into labour. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters. The doctors checked the foetal heart rate and everything seemed OK. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down so they let her go home in the afternoon.
Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11.00pm.”

Halle said that “There’s just one baby at the moment, but we’re hoping, immediately after this one, to do it again!”
