According to Sammy Live, the Tata Aria is a family vehicle and comes with 7 seats; it is a mix between a sedan and an SUV. A 2.2-liter diesel engine will power the vehicle, the same used in the Safari. Expect to see the Aria enter production some time in the second quarter of the year.

The Aria will be Tata Motors most expensive vehicle to date and will come with a four-wheel-drive option. This will not be the best off-road vehicle, but a decent ground clearance should help with mild-off road driving.

The Tata Aria is also their safest vehicle, with six airbags and ESP. The price for this new MPV will be Rs 7-10 lakh.
