Roaming Agreement Signed: Bell and AT&T

Bell and AT&T have recently signed an agreement, this agreement allows AT&T customers to roam on Bell Mobility’s new HSPA network, the deal also allows Bell customers to roam on AT&T’s GSM and 3G networks whilst in the United States.
The agreement is great for both Bell and AT&T customers; however exact details have not yet been released, as long as there is no major surcharge or a higher rate whilst on these networks the deal should be beneficial for all of their customers. Read more

According to a report on BoyGeniusReport it seems that Barnes & Noble have reached a deal with AT&T, this deal allows free WiFi access in their stores across the country, the intention is that by offering this free WiFi it will allow free access to Barnes and Noble apps along with access to its huge 700,000 title eBook library. You may heave read our post yesterday reporting that AT&T were blocking access to the 4Chan site, well it seems that the blocking was due to an incorrect implementation of filter that AT&T had added.
Initially AT&T apparently intended to just filter out some traffic that 4chan were responsible for however it seems that it ended up filtering out everything, the 4Chan owner Moot said “For the past three weeks, 4chan has been under a constant DDoS attack. We were able to filter this specific type of attack in a fashion that was more or less transparent to the end user,”. Read more
