Most of you will probably be aware that a recent revelation was made by Creative Director Patrice Desilets, stating that the upcoming DLC packs for the Assassin’s Creed II: ‘Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities’ were originally meant to be included on the disc.

However, they didn’t make it onto the disc and now gamers will be asked for pay $4 and $5 respectively for each pack, when they are released in January and February.

With all the debate surrounding Super Street Fighter IV, it seems as if companies are following a similar trend with what route to take with DLC content.

We want to know what you think of this? Do you think you should have to pay for the ‘extra’ ACII content or not? Full info on the DLC can be found in this report from Eurogamer.

For weeks now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been at the top of the PS3 game charts, but now things have changed. Assassin’s Creed II is now the best selling PS3 video game, pushing the latest CoD game to number 2. According to Digital Spy, FIFA 1O remains unchanged at number 3.

Assassin’s Creed was like Marmite, you either loved it or hated it, there never seemed to be a middle ground. The first game was well received so the second game had some big shoes to fill, and the game sales speak for themselves. Nothing has changed in the way of being able to free-run on top of buildings.

This second game is unlike the first; most gamers now love the sequel as all the faults of the first one have been addressed. Assassin’s Creed II is not as exiting as the first game, but it is much deeper, something that gamers crave. For a full review, visit Kombo.

Although Assassin’s Creed II has topped the PS3 charts, the game has no hope of matching the success of Modern Warfare 2. Never has a game been built with so much hype, and worldwide sales figures proved just that. Pre-orders were huge and has gone on to become one the biggest selling games of all time.

Were you were one of those gamers who purchased Assassin’s Creed II, if so give us your views?
