With expectations running high, Polyphony Digital and Sony will do all they can to make sure it’s a success.

The Gran Turismo 5 gameplay has opened my eyes, especially the Jaguar XJ-13 but that’s not as sexy as a new PS3 cover being offered by EB Games. The GT5 faceplate looks stunning and can be seen below, it comes with exclusive GT5 art and Kazunori Yamauchi’s signature.

You will not find another faceplate for the PS3 that looks this good, well not for driving games anyway. The price on EB Games is $48 and will be available from 4/11/2010, but you can pre-order today.

GT5 will release in North America on November 2, and Europe can pick up the game the following day. We expect some people will get it early just like Halo Reach on the 360. Let us know what you think about this faceplate, and have you pre-ordered GT5 yet?
