As Rick Givens over on the attackofthefanboy.com website notes, not a lot is known about the upcoming game at this stage, but we do know that it should be arriving sometime in 2012. Reports also suggest that the ARMA III game will be shown at the 2011 E3 event next month.

Although the game is not due to be released next year, it hasn’t stopped the PC system requirements from being unveiled earlier on. To run the ARMA III game, players require at least the Windows 7 or Windows Vista operating system, as well as 15GB of free Hard Drive space.

Other PC system requirements include a Core i5 or Phenom X4 processor, DirectX 10 support, 2GB of RAM and a 896MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or an ATI Radeon HD 5770. The game will of course feature a rich single player campaign, with an impressive list of weapons and vehicles.

The ARMA III game will also feature the ability to customize your character’s loadout. As for the multiplayer side, this will include both co-op and competitive style gameplay. You can view some screenshots for the upcoming game via the attackofthefanboy.com website.
