Their efforts were seemingly worth it as there was a few treats including the announcement that AT&T would get the exclusive obligation of being sole carrier in the U.S for the NGP or what will officially be named the PlayStation Vita.

This news also revealed the official price of the portable console and it’s a competitive one. AT&T will offer the device for $250 for the Wi-Fi only version and will also offer the 3G version for $300. Though this price may seem reasonable to many hardcore gamers, there are some analysts, like Dan Ernst, who believe it is too expensive for the rest of the market

Never the less the pricing has got rivals offering similar gaming devices to the market, like Apple with their iPod Touch and Nintendo with their 3DS, wondering what impact it could have on their sales. The latest iPod devices’ costs start from $229 which is still cheaper and the company is expected to launch their next generation iPod Touch soon.

This also gives Apple the upper hand as they can take the PS Vita’s price into consideration when pricing their new model. Sony will be hoping the launch of their latest PSP will increase their falling sales in the mobile gaming market.

While doing some research we found that there is not just billiards apps for gaming, but also those for locating halls for you to play the game for real, as well as details on the history of the game. You will be surprised how many there actually are.

The first app that we have for you is one of the most popular if you are looking to play billiards on your Apple iOS device. Billiards costs just $3.99 and is said to be as easy as playing on your home computer, but for a fraction of the cost. There are five different games to choose from, and we are told that all tables can be customized for your liking.

For those of you who wish to find a billiard hall near you; then maybe you should try iLocate – Billiards. This app costs just $0.99 and has a huge database giving you details of each hall along with directions to them as well, all at the touch of a button. Some of the features include one click contact details, view by list or maps, easy scroll and much more.

Te final app that we have found is all to do with the history of the game; History of Billiards costs just $0.99 and also offers instructions on how to play the game. I am not a billiards player, so was surprised to know that there is more than one version of the game.

Here are a few that we think you should consider; the first is one that I think you will warm to the most, as it is free. The ‘Job Interview Guide’ allows you to gain the advantage on some of the other people going for the same job – unless they have this app as well. Finally we have ‘Audio Job Interview Professional’, and for just $0.99 offers great value for money. This app was updated just two days ago, and allows you to record your interview. This is good for you to go over how you thought the interview went and maybe improve on key areas. More details.

Frankkobola from Digital Trends has learned that April looks to be the month that Apple will release its new iPad, which is the same month that the current iPad was released. This news comes from information gathered by ComputerWorld, who had spoken to Gleacher & Co analyst Brian Marshall.

None of us know if Apple will stick with the same basic design of the iPad or make a few changes? We recently reported that changes could be made to the display, and we hope that it will come with a camera and FaceTime. However, we now have reason to believe that it could also be made from something different.

According to an article from Apple Insider, which we found via Ubergizmo, it looks as though the next-gen iPad could have a carbon fiber shell. The reason for this is to help improve reception – I am sure that I have heard that before – and help reduce some weight.

We already know that Apple is ready for the new iPad 2, as TV advertisements have already been shot, the only thing left is to add the new tablet device once they have been designed – which we believe Apple has already done.

They revealed this in a tweet earlier today, sadly only the Windows version is up at the moment, however there is a Mac version being developed which will be coming soon.

You can download the Greenpois0n jailbreak here, the download itself is just 347kb in size and contains one exe, you can see a screenshot from the app at the end of this post.

The Greenpois0n jailbreak works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3G S, iPod touch (4th and 3rd Gen) and iPad, if you are using Greenpois0n on your iPhone 4 running iOS 4.1 you must use TinyUmbrella (here) to preserve your baseband.

Some early users suggest that Greenpois0n does not work, therefore we would appreciate your feedback in the comments section below.

You may wonder why the camera maker wants in on the portable console market? Maybe they have seen how popular this market has become and feels that they have something to offer – but do they?

The Nintendo DS and the PSP currently dominate the market, but the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch are also big players. We just wonder if anyone out there will want a device as chunky as this – it’s not the smallest of devices?

The Panasonic Jungle has a clamshell design and is expected to come with a QWERTY keyboard – not certain why that is yet. We do worry that the size of the device will let it down, with Engadget’s Joshua Topolsky saying that this is something that we do not expect from a portable games console in 2010.

The latest device to get the Hughes treatment is the new iPod Touch 4G, which is called the Supreme Fire 24ct Gold Edition.

The designer seems to love both gold and diamonds, you only have too look at the “Apple iPhone 18ct Gold Edition”, “24ct Gold iPhone 4” and the “Nintendo Wii SUPREME” to understand what I am talking about.

The new fourth-generation iPod Touch is finished in 24ct gold, with the Apple logo having 53 Flawless diamonds inset. The navigation button also has diamonds inside, and as you would imagine adds some more weight to the device.

The limited edition PMP comes at a price though – £209,995. Not certain how many units will be sold, which is why only two have been made. Would you pay the price for this device?
