According to this report from Apple Insider, Apple will definitely announce the 4th generation iPod Touch, as well as the planned refresh to Apple TV.

However, unlike previous Apple events, the new products will not be available for shipping immediately. New information obtained by Macworld has revealed the official product code for the new Apple TV hardware. The code is USA MC572 LL/A if you’re interested.

While it is great that a new iPod Touch is definitely on the way, it may be slightly disappointing for consumers to hear that the products won’t be available to buy immediately. The source failed to state when the actual shipping date will be, so hopefully Apple will reveal it in a few hours time.

We have a round up of website links that should be providing a live stream of the event, ensuring that you can catch all the juicy info as it happens live.

We imagine that most of you will be wanting to check out a live stream of the event, but we are still not 100% sure that Apple will be providing one. If they do, then we have a list of the websites that will definitely provide a stream for you.

As reported from MacRumors, information obtained by Bloomberg has revealed that Apple are planning a media event on September 7th – which just so happens to land on a Tuesday.

The event is expected to unveil the fourth-generation iPod Touch with Facetime and front-facing camera, while there also could be a hardware refresh to Apple TV, or iTV as it will probably get renamed to.

This might be a long-shot, but Apple may also use their keynote conference to finally announce a release date for the white iPhone 4 model. Then again, most of you might have lost interest already, after discovering there are alternative ways to get hold of a white model.

However, Steve Jobs took to the stage at the Apple Event and announced to the audience that their new device will be called the iPad. Below we will give you all the price details along with information on the cool keyboard dock.

Firstly let us take a closer look at the price for iPad. The 16GB version will cost $499, the 32GB will cost $599 and the large 64GB version will cost $699. These models all come with Wi-Fi, to add 3G to that just put another $130 to each model.

The standard Wi-Fi models will start to ship in 60 days, with the 3G versions coming in 90 days. We are told that the international version will be available from June.

Now let us take a look at that cool looking Keyboard Dock for the iPad. Engadget informs us that there is no price or if it will be released when the tablet is launched. With the two of these devices combined, we can see netbook sales taking a bit of a beating. If you do not want to purchase this accessory, then you will pleased to know that the iPad will work with a standard Apple Bluetooth keyboard.

What we know about the specs so far is that it measures 9.7-inches and comes with a 1GHz Apple A4 chip. We were also told that it would have a battery life of 10 hours and a 1-month standby.

We wonder if that is 10 Apple hours or real hours? There have been many times when they give us a battery life and learn that it comes up much shorter than that. There is a choice of storage sizes from 16GB to 64GB, so we assume that there will be a 32GB version in the middle.

Looking at what we have seen so far, we have to wonder how Apple has managed to squeeze 10 hours out of the iPad. They must have worked hard on the battery itself, along with the display and the software running it.

That’s another thing, what is the software running it, we are still waiting to here that piece of information. We know that it is just half and inch think and weighs just 1.5 pounds.

We always know that when Steve Jobs takes to the stage, there will be a big cheer and for good reason.

It is still not known what we will see at this ‘latest creation’ event, but we do have a good idea. It does not matter if it will be the rumored Apple Tablet PC, a new iPhone, a new iPhone OS 4.0 or even the best selling smartphone heading to Verizon, whatever it is, it will be great.

So we have waited months for this event, people have now queued outside for hours and have now taken to their seats and their laptops open ready to type. One website that will tapping away like mad is Engadget, they have a live blog so will report it is at happens. Here is a list of other live blogs at the event, just in case Engadget slows down or crashes.

We thought that we would list a few of those websites attending the conference just in case the one that you are on goes down for some reason.

The first of the websites is Ars Technica, the team will be blogging from the Yerba Buena center in San Francisco. They will keep you informed with up to the second coverage along with a roundup after the event has finished.

The second website is Gizmodo, they just ask that you check back at the correct time for their liveblog of the event. Check what time the event is on in your country by visiting our recent post.

ZD Net is another website offering live coverage of the Apple event. In the build up they have asked their readers a number of questions, such as “What will the name of Apple’s rumored tablet device be?” and “When will the Apple tablet actually ship to customers?”

The most popular website at the event has to be Engadget, they will tell us how it is in a language that we all understand. Check back when the event kicks off, we wonder what Steve Jobs has in store for us?
