After following the guide via the source link above you should be virus free, however you should perhaps look at how you became infected in the first place.

A few tips include using a more secure web browser, I prefer Google Chrome as it is deemed unhackable by many, also you should have up-to-date antivirus software installed, which automatically updates and runs schedules scans. I would do a scan every other day. Also make sure that auomatic Windows Updates are turned on.

Most of these infections are accidentally installed by careless web surfers, never click on any dodgy links or pop-ups, if they look to goo to be true they probably are.
