Find out what are the best new Android apps before July 2011, a few sites have listed some of the best apps during June, so we thought it would be good to point to a few of our favorites and some lists that show great apps.

With Android going up in the world the App Store still has more than three times as many apps as Google’s Android Market, but by the looks of it things are starting to change with the number of Android apps more than doubling since last August. So the forecast for Android users looks good. This month sees the release of Adidas MiCoach fitness training app, one of the best training apps on the Android. Also the Napster, music streaming service gets its own Android app.

Netflix is eventually on Android! Only on select phones but more are coming soon. Google Music is one of the biggest new launches on Android, and the player app lets you enter your MP3′s stored in the “cloud” on your Android phone. Cyberlords Arcology is a great RPG with a retro feel. ShakeCall is a fun app that lets you answer incoming phone calls at a shake of your phone. Google Earth has an update to the Google Earth for Android app brings satellite imagery and 3D building to Honeycomb tablets.

Trainline Tickets allows you to look up UK train times in a flash. White House is The official White House application. News Republic for those who want news on their mobile. ADW.Launcher is the desktop replacement app to compete with LauncherPro. Befunky is a photo editor for your phone, Episodes is ideal for streaming Television to your Android and doubleTwist Player is a media player and streamer, and it’s free.

These are just a few to mention with further compiled lists available on websites such as Trusted Reviews, The Street and ReadWriteWeb. You may find that you are now becoming spoilt for choice. It seems that Android apps have bright new future ahead of them.

Have you ever misplaced or had your mobile phone stolen? Wouldn’t it be nice to know where your device is, even if you have put it down somewhere safe or hidden it in a draw somewhere and for the life of you just can’t remember where the phone is.

Well according to a report by Darren Murph at engadget.com, Verizon Wireless offers its Total Equipment Coverage program, which has now been extended with a free Mobile Recovery app for existing customers and is available for download now.

Once the app is active and providing the phone is on, you can track it to a location address, and you even get directions and a map of how to get there. Another option is being able to remotely lock the device and erase all your contacts.

You also get the option to use the Sound Alarm function, which helps find it even in vibrate or silent mode. What do you think of the new Mobile Recovery service and will you get it?

PhotoSpeak, a really clever app that turns photos into a living 3D avatar has just been released for users of Android devices. Developed in Japan by MotionPortrait, users take a photo or use one from their library and let the app process the image into 3D movie.

The avatars lip-syncs to any conversation that is recorded on the phone, this is achieved by the apps cutting edge image processing technology. By giving the avatar a prod with your finger, it will follow by moving and blinking like a real human. Tapping the screen will reveal some smart looking Easter eggs. For users without a camera on their device they can choose a library photograph.

Users can try using one of their favorite cartoon characters, or a celebrity. Words can be put into the avatars mouth with a simple touch of the button to record. The app supports US English, Japanese, French and German languages. PhotoSpeak is only 350 yen, or equivalent currency. Available worldwide on the Android Market. Click here for more information.

Device Requirements: Android OS 1.6 or higher, SD Card, Network connection.

Whenever you are stressed or feel that no one loves you, then you can always turn to your pet. But there is always that one thing that stops you getting closer, and that is being unable to communicate with them. However, Google has developed an Android App called – Translate for Animals.

This application makes it possible for you to talk to animals, as it helps to remove the language barrier. Google hopes that this app will help to give us a better understanding of animals – so now you can find out just what your pet is thinking.

If you visit Google, they have a video explaining just how the Translate for Animals Android App works. It works by translating certain phrases common to those species – such as cats and dogs. If you have problems downloading this app then the only thing we can suggest is – April Fools.
