Hand on with the Abit AX78 AM2+ Motherboard
The Abit AX78 is an AM2+ Motherboard and will support up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM over four slots. The motherboard also caters for PCI Express 2.0 graphic cards, however it has to split it much like the Intel P35 has too, this means that you might get bottlenecked.

However you can use two GPUs so you are able to connect up to four monitors at a time. The Abit AX78 will support Phenom and Athlon CPUs, so if you are an Intel fan you better find another motherboard.

So why would you want this AMD based motherboard over an Intel one, well how about the price. This one will set you back about £50, bet that ha got your attention.
