802.11n Wi-Fi standard gets approval from IEEE

Although there has been no official announcement from the IEEE it is now thought that they have finally approved the 802.11n wireless LAN standard, the news comes as Bruce Kraemer(chairman of the 802.11n Task Group) has recently sent out notifications to “ Wi-Fi chip makers, software developers, and equipment vendors”.
