However, did you know that if you are worried about the safety of your children or it is not practical, then we have located 6 Fourth of July fireworks apps that will allow you to bring them indoors?

The first app is simple called Fireworks, and is said to be the number one of its kind on the App Store. Now some children do not care too much about how they see fireworks, as it is all about the colors to them. In some ways this app will be better for some children, especially those who do not like loud noises. They can just keep hitting the screen to see more spectacular fireworks – and works even better on the iPad. The price for this app is just $0.99.

Up next we have 3D Fireworks 2 and is a little different to the one we mentioned above, as the fireworks are not just displayed on a blank screen. You can also enjoy the wonderful displays with a city-scape park scene, which you can also configure in your own way. Now you can choose to watch the fireworks on auto mode or manual, and they will look even better once mirroring has been fully released.

Our third is Handmarks Fireworks App and allows you to take the firework with you, wherever you go. The good thing about this is how you can use one of your own images and has fireworks going off on it. If you do not have any decent images to use, then you do have a choice of four –pre-selected ones of your choice.

4th of July – Auracle is next up and this is one of the most boring of the six. Just touching the screen or shaking the iOS device can launch the fireworks. However, we do like how images that form part of the American history are shown when the fireworks do go off.

For those who cannot get enough of the America flag and fireworks, then the Fourth of July Flag app is a great way to fulfill both these needs. With this app you can light your fireworks and watch them go off to a background image of the U.S. flag.

Our final fireworks app is 4th Of July Fireworks and has 24 images that can be used to watch the fireworks go off. There is not much more we can say about this app. However, for those looking for a little more, then we have a few more apps that will help you celebrate American Independence Day.

We had assumed that the search engine giant would go all out like they have done in previous years, but all we have is an image with a few images that symbolizes America. OK, so we have fireworks, but where is the flag?

Whenever you celebrate the American Independence you always need to have to have that flag waving, so why has Google not given the American people what they want? We all love it when Google has an interactive Doodle on their homepage, such as the one from last year, which you can see in the video below.

When you watch the video or for those who can remember last years Doodle, then you will know what we mean when we say that Google did it again. Nothing helps to celebrate the 4th of July like some good old fireworks. It is very clever how it has been done, with a chain of events being set off with the end result being the launch of a single firework.

Now we do not have to be gifted to know that American’s who visit the Google homepage will be a little disappointed with what they see. How come the likes of Les Paul, Jules Verne etc qualify for a cool interactive Google Doodle, and the 4th of July does not? There could have been so many opportunities for Google here, ones that would have stopped them from thinking about Bing instead.

When you visit their homepage there is a high def image of an eagle, now how patriotic is that? The when you hover over certain areas of said image you will get interesting bits of information for you to read.

Now compare that to today’s Google Doodle, which consists of a number of small images that is a mashup of everything American. Now that we look a little closer, it’s not has bad as we had first thought. Yes it is still lacking and could do with some interaction, but you can read a lot from the logo.

From what we make of it, the logo takes in the east to west cost, from New York to San Francisco and a little bit more in-between. Not too sure why there would be a rainbow there though – surely they are not celebrating Wizard of Oz as well?

The well-known Allrecipes app has two versions, one dedicated for iPad and another for iPhone. This application has thousands of recipes to make sure you will find the perfect dishes for those invited to your July 4th celebration. There are a number of filters you can use when searching, these include finding recipes by cooking method, course, or prep time.

Another massive collection of recipes can be found in “How to Cook Everything”, as the name of this iOS app suggests, it claims you can find out how to cook “everything” using your iPhone, iPod or iPad. The app has an easy-to-access collection of grilling recipes with hundreds of illustrations.

What is a Fourth of July party without drink? Those of you that like a little drink during the celebrations will find the Mixologist app perfect, especially if you want more than just beer. You will find the ultimate drink recipes to help you find some cool ideas for 4th of July 2011. Our favorite feature in this app is the ability to browse by ingredient.

If you fancy a new HDTV to watch your movies or sport on, Best Buy currently have the Dynex 46” Class 1080p LCD TV on sale. With a saving of $100 at $499.99 you get a tabletop stand, and the TV features two HDMI inputs, one composite, one component, and you can even connect it to your PC.

For a bit less money Walmart have the Sceptre 40-inch 1080p LCD HDTV for $348. The screen has an ultra-fast response time of 8ms, and a high resolution of 1920 x 1080.
