To add to the mud style graphics that have been available from day one, the Raptor will now offer a black hood design that comes straight from the old drawing boards of the 1970′s racing Bronco’s. The matte black graphics sports the F-150 SVT Raptor logo along the hood, and not only looking cool, it is said to help reduce glare off the hood.

Ford also say that the “digital mud” graphics that adorn the load bed are inspired by snowboard and ski equipment and replicate the pattern that the mud would make once being thrown off the unique BFGoodrich® all terrain tires. With the side graphics being available since the trucks debut in 2010, 43 percent of customers choose these as a option. Seeing how good the new hood decals look I wouldn’t be surprised to see the options list gaining one more tick.
